Good Quality
I bought this for my father in-law because he needed a bigger hoist to work on farm equipment and he couldn’t be happier with it. If he’s happy, the whole family is! He was impressed by the quality of materials and work.

Poor Design
The outright lying of the lift range. It appears that either it is poorly designed, or poorly manufactured to the engineering design.Very difficult to insert saftey lock pin for the 3 ton position. This appears to reflect poor engineering.

seems to be quite well built and sturdy. Major issue is the lift height. It does not go high enough to even lift an engine out of a small car. I purchased it to lift engines out of trucks and it won't even come close to lifting it high enough.

Good lift, but some measurements, as reported, are wrong.
I purchased this hoist a few months ago. It is a very solid piece of work (about 280 lbs). I have used it, so far, to lift and move some 400lb 55gal drums at full extension, and also some pieces of shop equipment. For this I used a short wooden rod as the pump handle (because it was faster). No strain at all for this hoist!I will soon need to move a 1000 lb piece of shop gear. We'll see how that goes. Not expecting any problems. However,I am the person who submitted the question about the crane being able to go through a 30 inch doorway. I was told here on the site that the max width was 30in. Just to be sure, I asked the manufacturer if it would roll through a 30 inch wide doorway, and he assured me it would. (This was the door I needed to go through to enter my shop). Well, IT WILL NOT go through a 30 inch door. The width in the front is a little over 30 (more like 30.5) and the width in the back is 32 inches. I am in the process of modifying the crane so it will go into my shop area. Also, the mox lift height to the bottom of the hook (with the chain that came with it) is 83 inches. The height to the top of the chain bolt (in the arm) is 96 inches.Bottom line, I think this crane is very sturdy and pretty well built, but I am unhappy about being lied to twice.

Truly afraid to attempt to use it.
Don't waste your money!!!!!! The steel on this is thinner than my 1ton hoist!!!!! Instructions are a parts list which has many mislabeled components. Nothing fits properly, everything is loose and sloppy. The manufacturer actually used second hand steel that was rusted and heavily pitted!!!!! The main boom is the ONLY piece that is fairly sturdy built. Lots of partial welds and the rest look like someone drug barbed wire through a cats gut! All....ALL of the wheel bearings are dry as a bone and extremely loose. Lastly nothing appears to be true/square.

Decently built , but had to drill out bolt holes for the lifting arm. The holes were smaller than the bolt size.
