a squirrel had bitten through an outside electric chord and i needed a water proof splice. this worked wonderfully. was easy to install ( you will need a pliers, #0 phillips sscrewdriver, utility knive, wire stripper and optionally electrical tape). there was 2 bites in the chord to fix, it took me about 30 minutes to fix both. I was especially pleased that they include a second set of washers for a thicker chord, which i needed to use. overall, this did the job perfectly. I then wrapped the chord in a protective sleeve to hopefully keep the squirrels at bay!

These are spectacular. Extremely wonderproof, and so easy to install. They hold up against concrete when you drag the cord across it and it saves you from throwing away hundreds of dollars in chords.

Overall I think it is going to work pretty well as an inline splice; however, it wasn't the easiest to use. If the connectors were just a tad bigger it would make a huge difference. It seems like they are sized for 14ga-16ga wire whereas sizing for 12ga would make it soooo much easier to work with.

These connectors work great underwater and are waterproof and we use these to connect our pool lights to the electrical connection.

Make sure you have some decent wire strippers / cutters and a tiny screw driver and you are ready to use these things. Had some extra rubber seals that I didn’t know how to use but overall the connector works great, very strong once snugged down. Saved a very long extension cord the landscapers hit with their weed eater. Will buy again.

Very difficult when using 14 Ga. wire and difficult to tighten screws. Screws need (No. 1 Phillips tip) which is too small and can't torque screws enough. Also too many components to the connector and make sure you have enough room to assemble it together, you need plenty of slack in your wire. It would also be nice if they added numbers or marks to the wire slots to make sure of your wire coding Maybe I'm using it for the wrong application (In-line splice for 110v 3 wire power cables) but, I made it work, now lets see if it stays together on the road.

This product works as advertised, nice, neat and small, help me repair the torn electrical cord. Love it.

Perfect! Gets the job done. A squirrel ate through one of my landscape lighting wires. I was able to use this device to reconnect the wires, waterproof, solid construction. Great purchase.

This is a well-made connector, with high quality plastic and rubber pieces. As you connect your cables and screw it together you can tell this is a well constructed item. I would give it half a star less as no directions are included. It’s reasonably straight-forward to use, but you may go on YouTube to follow some instructional videos. I especially chose this connector because it comes with two sizes of cable connectors: 5mm to 9mm cable, and 9mm to 12mm cable. My pump cable is 8.5 mm, but my power cable is 11 mm. This connector accommodates them both.

I used this product to splice a 100 ft outdoor extension cable. Easy to use, works perfectly. Would buy again when needed.
