My 11 year old is 4’ 11” and weights around 100-105 lbs. She usually wears Girls 2XL or Ladies small shirts and GIRLS 16 or Ladies XS bottoms. The girls swimsuits just didn’t fit this year, not enough torso length, and off the rack ladies and juniors suits were incredibly inappropriate for her age. The suit is AMAZING. The XS fits her perfectly. The suit completely covers her rear end. The “vintage” cut mimics todays “athletic” cut underwear (…under the butt rather than across it…). She tried several other styles in a small and they were all a bit too big and had to be returned. This was the only suit with this cut that we found in an XS. She absolutely loves it. She said it feels good on and it stays in place. I have never seen her tug on it or have to scoop around the leg openings when wearing it. It’s flattering, yet age appropriate. She has received many compliments on it. The straps are adjustable and she keeps them nearly all the way cinched up, so I expect she’ll be able to wear it next year as well. She’s worn the maroon one a good 25 times (the color is bold and completely her jam) and the white with the red and blue argyle about half that, and there are zero signs of wear on either. The fabric is smooth and a perfect thickness and elasticity.There is a slight variation in fit between her two suits, which is very common with most garments. She can tell the difference when she wears them, but visibly, the fit looks the same and it’s not enough variance to bother her.If you are looking for a modest and stylish/flattering suit, cannot recommend this one enough for either an adult or young adult.Please don’t change the design or fabric quality!!

I love this suit. It hugs my curves and covers me perfectly in all of the right places. It's very flattering and comfortable and durable! I look amazing in it and would buy 10 more. So very pleased!

The best thing about this swimsuit is the sewn in padding. I am so happy that I won’t have to deal with shoving padding back in its place after washing this. It fits very well and is flattering with the style. Looking forward to the beach and pools this summer.

First of all it fits perfectly. Top and bottom. I purchased a size 10 I’m 138, 5’3”. The 12 was too large. This suit has a nice back, not low. It’s covers any problems I have perfectly. No bulging, pinching. Just a smooth fit. I’m thinking of purchasing another one for next year

I am really happy with this suit. I am 5'7" 142lbs and bought a size 10. I might have been able to squeeze into an 8, but I am very comfy in the 10. I wear it to water aerobics, and it stays on place.

I ordered SO many Amazon swimsuits in this price range looking for something flattering thatwould keep me fairly contained for playing at the pool with my kids. This was the winner when it came to chest support. The v-neck is flattering without exposing too much. (I am a size B/C in bras.) Unfortunately, while the top of the swimsuit was a great fit, the elastic around the legs was tight, which is unflattering. I ended up ordering a size up, and hope that doesn't leave the top too loose.**Update: The size 16 is actually SMALLER than the size 14. I ordered up to have more room around my legs, but the leg opening was not any bigger on the larger size. In fact, holding the two suits up together shows that the size 14 (darker purple/blue, on bottom) is bigger overall than the size 16 (maroon, on top.) [See photo]. Now, bathing suits are stretchy, so they both 'fit' but I'm disappointed that there is no 'bigger size' option. I've re-ordered a size 16 in blue to see if I happened to get a faulty one, or if perhaps sizing is different for each color.

I purchased this bathing suit in 2 different colors. The fit is amazing and the other 2 bathing suits are still fine but only worn a maximum of 2 times so will see how they last after a few wears.This particular bathing suit ended up with small holes in the back side of the suit. So one wear and it is now unusable. Not sure why it was only that particular color that ended up with holes. I am hoping the others will not do the same. Unfortunately, I missed the return deadline or else I would have returned it.Darlene

I read a lot of reviews on Amazon regarding swimsuits and decided to buy this one based on previous customer experience. It fit perfectly well and is a really lovely swimsuit that I feel good in. Thank you to all the previous customers who write reviews, It really helped, especially when deciding on sizing,

This suit is comfortable and fits well because of the bra style fit with adjustable straps. I gave 4 and not 5 stars because it doesn't really offer much tummy control.

Probably fine if you're a size 8. To make it bigger they seem to have just added more on the sides so it's completely out of proportion
