hello! hello! Hardcover – Picture Book, October 30, 2012

I was interested in this book after falling in love with another Matthew Cordell book, ANOTHER BROTHER. I am blown away by hello! hello! I can't think of another book that has such an important message AND is beautifully illustrated and designed AND doesn't smack you in the face with its message in a moralistic "This is a message book" kind of way. My four kids love this book because it's fun and cute and happy. But I think this book is just as important for the grownups reading it aloud. I honestly think it'll be life changing.

Hello! Hello! is such a great book with an incredible message for kids of all ages! The illustrations are equally fantastic. In such a simple fashion, Matthew Cordell has said so much. If you have children or just enjoy great art, buy this book! You will love it, too!

The book is a very short one. I thought from the summary it would have had a couple of short chapters. However, it does not. It's more of a picture book with a sentence or two on each page.

My kindergarten class truly loved this.

Put down your cell phones, lap tops, gaming devises and turn off the t.v.! There is an exciting world of color and adventures waiting for you outside! Personally I have not seen any whales, octopi or buffalo when I go out; but there are still many wonders to take in, as Lydia shows in this fun read aloud for kiddos.

This is an excellent book that helps put out technological world into perspective. I would strongly recommend it to parents with tweens on up.

Not what I was expecting...honestly, it's among the 5 least favorite books my daughter now owns. Don't waste your money on this.
