Mercy Watson Fights Crime

These books are a must have on every child’s bookshelf. They are just as enjoyable the first time as they are the 87th. DiCamillo’s characters are so funny and enjoyable. She really does a great job of capturing kids’ interest with the Mercy Watson series.

My grandson James and I really enjoyed reading this book. We love Mercy! We love the many adventures of Mercy! So cute!

My kids ADORE all the Mercy Watson books, and I love reading them aloud! We plowed through the whole series one summer when the kids were 4 & 6. Such great characters and easy-to-follow, funny, clever plots. We will read them all again I’m sure!

We love this whole series!! It’s funny, clever and the illustrations are awesome. Good for a wide range of ages, my little kids and older grade school kids all love them.

My students love these books! It’s a great read aloud for my first grade class as the chapters are short and I can read it during short transitions.

My daughter is 5 and absolutely loves the Mercy Watson Books, they are a fabulous introduction to Chapter books and have entertaining & fun storylines! Very well priced, as are most books purchased through Amazon.

All of the Mercy Watson and Tales from Deckawoo Drive from Kate DiCamillo are the PERFECT reading level for my 6 year old. She started reading these when she was 5. Great beginning chapter books! Clean and respectful content, silly stories, good word repetition, opportunities to expand vocabulary and practice intonation...we sit and read together and giggle for hours!

We have three of the Mercy Watson books and we love them. Our daughter is 6 years old and loves when we read them to her and she is also now able to read them herself. The stories are well written, funny, and interesting. The illustrations also make the book enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this series to others and hope to get more of them for our family.

Lo compramos para la Kindle, pero no sabíamos que estaba obsoleta para este libro. Así que no pudimos bajárnoslo, tuvimos que usar la tablet para poder verlo. Y luego no nos dimos cuenta que era para más pequeños. Lo leeremos, pero pienso que Amazon debería advertir mediante una ventana de diálogo que estamos comprando un libro incompatible para la Kindle que tenemos, ya que está registrada. Vamos, que en parte he tirado el dinero, aunque sé que la autora no decepcionará.

My 6 year old loves these books. Very colorful, beautiful, humorous cute story of a pig. She takes out the books on her own and reads them again and again.

My son is newer to reading and g loves these books. I help with some of the names or tricky words, but he loves the stories and feels very proud of all the reading he can do
