If you are familiar with this product in packet form then I do not have to tell you how good it is. This packaging is so much more economical to purchase plus it gives you the flexibility to make larger (or smaller) portions using just enough herb mixture to match the size of your batch of finely shredded fresh cabbage.For those who have never tried this product in any package, this authentic herb mixture allows one to make German style "coleslaw". Rather than being mayonnaise based as is typical of American style coleslaw, this product has you mix 1 tablespoon (or EL) of herb mixture with 3 tablespoons (or 3 EL) each of water and your choice of oil. I use virgin olive oil so I get a much healthier result than if I had used mayonnaise plus the amount of oil for a typical batch is minimal. The water dissolves the dehydrated vinegar contained in the mixture and when added with the oil and the special herbs also contained in the mixture, the result is a very delightfully flavored salad dressing that you add to your shredded fresh cabbage stirring until completely mixed. We first had this in a German Restaurant and are grateful we can make this authentic and healthy dish at home with such ease. I would definitely purchase this again and definitely from this vendor again. The order was exactly as stated and even though delivery was quoted as several weeks shipping from Germany to the US, it came in less than a week via regular Post. .

I love mixing with German vinegar, oil, water for a refreshing vinaigrette. Easy to mix, Knoor is excellent, delicious.

So excited to have found this on Amazon. My favorite salad dressing (but can also be used with other dishes). A piece of my homeland Germany that I now get to enjoy here in the states. It’s obviously mote expensive than if I got it directly from DE, but in light of flight ticket prices, we’ll worth it for me! ☺️) I love the herbs, taste, and kick it has to it. Personally I either mix with oil, water and vinegar or add some yogurt to get a nice yoghurt dressing from it. Enjoy! :)

I hate buying fresh herbs, because they go bad so quickly, but I love herb tuna salad made with, well, all the ingredients that I discovered are in this salad dressing mix! I wasn't sure if it would work, but, wow, does it ever! I mix these in with my tuna and mayonnaise and it's an easy, fast, no-hassle way to make an incredible Sprouts Farmers Market-worthy tuna salad.Also wonderful as a salad dressing, of course. But if you're looking for an easy, no-hassle herb mix for any purpose, these dressing packets are incredible! The flavor is impressively robust and "fresh." And the portion you get for your buck is definitely worth it! Will be a returning customer, for sure!

I have apparently another Knorr vinegrette in the past which was tasty. This one was sweet and not pleasant to the palette. Awful!Thankfully I tasted it before serving to my guests...went back to olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing.
