Works well. No leaks and fits properly.

92-99 3 series bmw are difficult to order manual swap parts for. I did not use this part. It was wrong. I spent $120 and bought a new one from FCP EURO.

It fit the description, and fitted the proper vehicle. (Unlike Ebay 😒)

the part I got does not look like the picture. the tip is slightly different. I would not have bought the part knowing that it was not an OEM part.

Decent value. Where the supply line from the brake master reservoir feeds in, this has a different attachment than OEM. You just have to push the nipple in, but be careful as it takes enough force that breaking the plastic nipple is possible. Just buy another OEM nipple at the dealer, under $10 but it will take a day or two for the dealer to get it in. Also does not come with a new o-ring for the hard line to the slave that connects to the end like some of the competition and the clip is thinner gauge wire. After installation there was a slight catch at the beginning of the stroke, but it is getting better after 150 miles. I would move up to the FTE or OEM versions for 20% more if you can afford it. This is a control item, similar to steering and suspension that directly impacts the driving feel. This works, but does not have the same quality, tactile feel as the OEM. 3/23/18 Update - Change Rating. The catch I was feeling worsened and part failed after only a month or two of service. Pedal would go all the way to the floor and need to be lifted up with toe of shoe. Even with warranty replacement the real cost is in time to do the PIA install a 2nd time and having car down for a week. Would rank part 1 star, but adding back a star for Amazon warranty coverage. Return of failed part was easy and prepaid. They also gave cash refund since I couldn't wait on the replacement part and went to Auto Parts Store so I could quickly fix and get work transportation back.
