Amazing!
I've used a lot of charcoal over the years for odor removal, but this stuff is in a class of its own! I have an antique buffet that the previous owner had doused the entire inside with perfume (SO much that you could smell it standing next to it when it was completely closed up). I tried everything under the sun to get that odor out, even other activated charcoal bags. Nothing worked...until this. Further, we discovered our dogs were sneaking into a room they're not allowed into and urinating on the wool area rug. Even though we'd had it professionally cleaned, the odor would not come out. I sprinkled this one and left it overnight (safe from the dogs) and there is not one odor left in the rug! I am hyper-sensitive to fragrances/odors so rest assured that when I say the odor is gone, it's gone! You cannot go wrong with this stuff!

Works very well to reduce or eliminate odors
The activated charcoal works very well to eliminate or mitigate odors. For example, we use it in the dog poop container that holds the poop bags between garbage pickup days. The container is kept in the garage and since we started using the charcoal the odor has been substantially eliminated. It works well for other areas too. The 2lbs container is ok but I would like a larger size so I did not have to order so often, perhaps a 4lbs container. But no negative comments.

Seems to be living up to claims.
This product did as good as anything could do. I tested it in my home in a couple of places that were enclosed and had an odor. Worked great. After 3 days the smell was gone. Still evaluating the real reason I bought it - to take away the smell of moth balls from my mom's house. I placed it around in open containers in every room. Has been there for 3 days but I haven't been back. This is a real challenge since a whole box of mothballs were used in her attic. Still hopeful!!!

Skunkagedon
About 3 a.m. I woke to an overwhelming stench. A smell so strong, vile, and potent, it was immediately recognized. Skunk. And one at close range. The smell got worse and I further awakened to hear one of the dogs walking around and scratching and rubbing in the main body of the house. It took a moment then the full horror dawned on me. I could feel my husband starting to wake and hastened the process. He groggily mumbled, "What's wrong?" I uttered "Smell! Skunk... I think the dogs have been sprayed." I started to get up and head for my robe, meanwhile, my husband got straight out of bed and walked out the bedroom door. OH. MY. GODS. THE STINK.Our 100lb dog who had been skunked at close range, had come in the dog door and was desperately trying to get to one of us for help and was bumping into walls, chairs, pretty much every cabinet in the kitchen, then down the hallway. I'll spare you the rest of the story from that night and just fast forward from that night to about a week later. The stench had made its way into every crevice of our home and opening a closet was a return to the olfactory hellscape. We were slowly making our way through a mountain of laundry in a manner as to not destroy our septic system, and every time we opened a closet or cabinet we encountered a rude reminder of skunk-butt. I tried to think logically about how to deal with all the surprise smells... wash everything with Murphy's oil soap. Bowls of vinegar (didn't do diddly). Bowls of fresh coffee grounds - not bad, but it just became coffee-scented skunk-a@@. Charcoal! Yes, we hadn't tried that yet.I ordered a 2 lb canister of Pur Non Scents charcoal and put it on plates and in bowls in each room, and added sachets of it to all the closets and drawers then left everything open: drawers, doors, cabinets, windows, and turned the fans all on. Y'all... it was 49 degrees and still worth it. By the next day, we could breathe deeply again! This stuff was a wonder and I'll never be without it again!

Nice company, not for bigger smells/areas.
I purchased this to help with odor in my home. One, specifically, was formaldehyde as it's a new build. I researched A LOT of charcoal companies before purchasing from them. I bought this brand because the company is a small family company and seem to be genuinely interested in helping people and are just all around good people. As for what the product did for me, well, unfortunately not much. It didn't help with the formaldehyde, or the musk in the bathrooms. I did put it into a really tiny coat closet, and it did help with the shoe odor in there, but it's a very tiny closet. So, perhaps this is better for small coat closets, and not big rooms or for more harsher smells/toxins. If you want to just put into a drawer or your shoes, I think it would work great though.

Not delivered as advertised
The sachet bags were not included with the product. The lid had a big sticker on the top that said the sachet bags were under the lid but they were not there. This means the product could not be used as advertised, therefore, a waste of money.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT
Anyone who has ever had indoor cats will tell you that the worst part of caring for them is the SMELL of their litter box. I don’t care what brand of litter you use they all claim to deter unpleasant litter box smells. I've tried them all and not one smells pleasant in use. BUT.... they can! It's simple when you use this charcoal product. We have 2 large tuxedo cats and waste is moved nightly. We useThree (3) containers of this charcoal a month mixed in with the litter. Guests in our home are amazed to learn we have cats and a litter box! If you want happy cats and a clean, fresh smelling litter box all the time.... THIS IS THE ANSWER!!!
