Plus Size Spaghetti Strap Cover Up Beach Backless Wrap Long Dress

Ordered as a last minute beach cover up and didn’t have time to try it on between it arriving and leaving for vacation- I am 5 ft so almost nothing fits me length wise and everything I own must be hemmed so I expected to have to do the double sided tape. It fit perfectly perhaps maybe an inch of it dragged but honestly it wasn’t anything concerning- I was blown away that I didn’t feel like it needed to be held up or anything. I was able to pop it over my suit get to the beach get set up then just slide it off before I sat . It looked good had enough flow to hide what I wanted hidden but wasn’t baggy or shaggy looking . Only down side is when I would bend all the way over the straps would fall forward and start to slide down my arms - I may have needed to adjust it so that may have been user error . I’m short but a “bigger gal” so I was not expecting this to fit . I was very surprised very happy would buy again no doubt ! Only tip … if your concerned about your bottom part of the suit showing when sitting perhaps a pair of matching shorts under it as when you sit with it on it opens due to the wrap design but I only noticed because we took a bus and I didn’t want strangers thinking it was my underwear haha!

I was reasonably sure I would like this simple swimsuit cover up. It seemed like a no hassle, stretchy, and comfortable cover up. I really liked the idea of being able to wear it a few different ways as the image shows. But after trying it on I discovered I had essentially purchased a dress that required assembly and I had made a poor choice. I had no luck trying to were it the fancy ways the images showed and it barely fit the normal way. It has a lot of stretch but it still runs small. The straps are horrible, they feel like they may snap under the weight of the dress and offer no support to the dress. I suggest people keep looking, this is not a product worth purchasing.

What can I say? I'm a fat old lady who foolishly thought this thing would be an easy cover-up to throw on in order to spare the general public from the wonders of my ample booty as I walk to and from the beach. Boy was I wrong! What I did do, however, was provide hours (,well, minutes) of entertainment while I attempted to put this thing on in a way that actually covered anything. Honestly, I laughed so hard the first time I tried to wear this, that I could hardly breathe! Once I sorta figured it out, I discovered how intensely user (wearer) unfriendly it is. With every attempt to bend over to get a towel, or to pick up anything from the beach, the straps fell off my arms, making me very glad I still had my bathing suit on, and causing me to think that perhaps I was still wearing it wrong. Try as I may, I can not get the straps to stay on my shoulders, so, the thing has been retired to my pile of mistake purchases. It is very long. I'm a tall woman, and I was stepping on the hem, possibly because I never figured out how to actually wear it. It has the potential to be lovely, and it was for a good laugh, but I honestly would not recommend this garment to anybody who wanted to wear it for anything more active than a photo opp.

I was surprised at how flattering this was on me. My only complaint is that it is too long, and difficult to hem. Also not all designs are made of the same material and so don’t fit the same. I bought the floral white design and loved it! I also bout the plain white which was a different material and did not fit the same way. It was unflattering and I returned it. So keep that in mind when purchasing. The white/floral pattern was a much better mater quality therefore has a much better fit and flattering drape. I like it so much I kept it even though it was too long.

This wrap is just so pretty! It feels silky and the print is so clear. I am a plus size woman and it fits around me just fine. It is a little complicated to figure out at first. I love that there are multiple different ways you can use it. It is not see through at all so it does a good job covering everything if that is what you are looking for. Very nice!

Runs smaller than I expected. Like maybe junior sizing? That's possibly generous. Definitely consult the size guide, but even then I'd probably suggest sizing up to get the look shown. I am usually an XXL/2X. I didn't consult the size guide at first and ordered a 2X- which was laughable. Couldn't even wrap it around to both arms. I then ordered the 6XL- the largest, which per the size guide seemed just a tad small. However I thought it is a 6XL! Can it really be that small? Answer: Yes it can. While I could get it on both arms this time without breaking it, it was pulled tight, showing more than it should, definitely didn't fit my boobs, and didn't have the nice draped look in the photos. I would guess the 6XL is more accurately an XL by US sizes. But I can see an argument for size Large as well. I'm torn on what rating to give it, but the material was thin, and if I pulled too hard I think it would have broken it. The item did look like what I expected it to when viewing just the item. But based on the major sizing issues, and the cheap material, and the fact I just can't see it looking like the picture unless you order much larger than you need, I am going to give it a low rating. I can say though that the color was as expected.

This cover-up was exactly what I needed and the price was perfect. It's super lightweight and versatile enough to slip on over your bathing suit for lunch indoors. If you need more boob coverage make sure you size down, otherwise you'll be pulling it up constantly. When you put it on it looks exactly like a wrap dress, just a lot lighter and also a bit more sheer. The fabric itself has a good deal of give to it also.

If I could give a lower rating I would. There is no possible way to wear this thing and have it even cover your chest. Like, my girls are flopping out left and right no matter how I adjust it, pin it or manipulate it. NOT WEARABLE at all!!!! But um, nice cloth I guess? Don't buy this if you want to actually cover your bits. Now, if you want to provocatively have your chest balloons randomly make a surprise appearance to entertain those around you.... this is your dress!
