Whats an ese size pod ...what does it stand for

Hi. Similar to the other comment below. It is designed to sit in a regular espresso machine (you can just about see on the box image). The idea being that it is already compacted to produce the best crema possible and it is easy to clean without all the coffee grinds. Hope this helps.

How much water should you use with one of these pods for a medium strength coffee ?

These are pods are purely for ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) espresso machines. They produce 1 shot of espresso. They are not designed to be used like a tea bag. There does exist coffee bags for this purpose though.

How much does each pod weigh?

Each pod has a net weight of 6.95 gm

Does this produce a single or double espresso?

It depends on a few things.....My wife and I use an espresso machine, and one pod gives us a nice satisfying two tea cup size drinks which we top up with warm milk...Sometimes The Male in the house wants a more robust spread and uses one pod for a normal tea cup size and tops up with milk as preferred.
