Previous reviews had me needlessly concerned. How could a hole be misthreaded by an automated tapping machine?First thing I did on receipt was run 10/32 rack screws fully in-and-out of all 18 holes. They were all straight and perfect, as expected. Obviously this is for audio / studio gear so make sure you're using the 10/32 standard and not the 12/24 you find on computer networking gear, not that those would fit anyway.The steel is thick and nicely power-coated. Obviously they're cut down from larger stock so there are cut lines. But there were no burrs. The edges have been reasonably polished down at the cuts. A previous reviewer may have an unreasonable expectation for something that will be *hidden behind your rack gear.* (Although they may be reviewing a product from a different seller.) The ones from seller: "Reliable Hardware" are solid.

Good product! Depending on how you use these you might want to file the edges down, the way they are cut leaves a sharp edge.It looks like these are made out of galvanized steel, so i expect them to last forever!

The threads do not fit rack screws... They are too large and the screws are too loose to hold anything...

This product is cut down from heavy rack stock, which chips the paint and leaves VERY sharp edges (which they’re nice enough to warn you about on the packaging). If it’s going to be buried in a space where the sharp edges on both ends won’t be exposed, maybe satisfactory. If not, look elsewhere. Dremeling the edges and re-painting will take only slightly less time than returning and reordering so I will keep it and warn others (and deduct stars from “value for money”). Completely unsatisfactory for anyone going for a clean, finished look.

Study brackets! Screwed these into a griffin mixer rack in order to create a desktop. Quality metal and easy to install.

Made purchase of a Warwick Rock Bag (3 space semi-solid music gear rack) ... didn't realize Warwick uses some kind of funky captive nut with an oddball size rack screw, so I bought these and just replaced the rails ... everything lined up perfectly, zero complaints ... worked 100% as needed. These do not come with rack or mounting screws/hardware.
