Perfect for wine fridge
Order these strips specifically for my wine cooler fridge. I just didn't trust the gauge on it. I used a kitchen meat thermometer to stabilize the cooler at 55°F. Used a scotch tape to attach strips to the bottom, middle, and top of a glass door.As you can see, the readings are pretty accurate. I'd say to 1°F. However, the lower the reading, the harder it is to see. If you can't seem to see what part of the scale is activated, shine a flash light on it at an angle.Don't forget to remove a clear protective film on the front side. It makes it a lot easier to read the temperature!

Guesstimate
These can be a bit difficult to read, but they work well for getting a quick idea of the temp. I use them with heating wraps for 2 gallon Kombucha jars. They've helped me ensure a consistent temp is maintained. I don't know if I'd rely on them for precise measurements.

Hard to see actual temperature
Seems to work, but the color of the current temperature is barely visible in most lights. YOu have to shine your phone light on it to see where the temp is.

Too difficult to see without added light source.
Too difficult to see. Very low level display and now what I see is the number one complaint from others. Have a flash light to see the temp. You can’t just see it at a glance. I use other strips for my brew/fermentation that are very easy to see without the need for extra light. Will not return these but won’t purchase again.
