I use these as they are reliable and in lamps with a shade, others have actually melted the shade. These don't get that hot. Some last longer than others, but overall they are a great product.

About a year ago, I purchased the Sylvania CFL T2 Twist Light Bulb, 60 W Equivalent, from LEDVANCE. After about 9 months in stock, I used one of the new bulbs to replace a bulb that had burned out. I noticed that the new bulb burned out within 24 to 48 hours. I went through a troubleshooting process until the only conclusion was that the bulbs were all defective. I contacted the company via information on Amazon. To my surprise, they agreed to refund the cost of the whole package of 8 bulbs. I received the check this week. Superior customer service was evident. Thank you!

A smaller bulb that packs a good punch. What I like about this in comparison to both LED and the classic size CFL is these CFL are smaller in size but still deliver the correct amount of lumens of light. This is perfect for smaller opening fixtures or ones with limited space inside. Also what I like about these when you first turn on from a cold start is they turn on at about 70% light and reach full 100% brightness in about 30 to 45 seconds. This makes all the difference allowing your eyes enough time to adjust when you wake at 2 AM and turn on the hallway light in comparison to LED with blasting 100% full instant blinding brightness, this small warm up time is perfect meanwhile still giving you about 70% to see everything you need to see. The price is also good at $10 for 8 bulbs. These bulbs are being phased out via a new law so get them now before they are gone for good. If you snooze you loose. I have included a few pictures for size comparison for you to see the difference in size to current bulbs on the market today.

These are almost the perfect bulb. One of the best cfl bulbs ever made. Amazing micro size, great color quality, brightness, and near instant start!Cons. These are not enclosed rated and short cycles will hurt their lifespan. CFL bulbs need at least three minutes before being turned off or it can damage the electrodes.

Good product

Not quite total junk! Purchased pack of 8 bulbs. FOUR ARE WORKING, OTHER FOUR STOPPED WORKING IN TWO DAYS.UPDATE: Infuriating. These were in fact TOTAL JUNK as NONE have lasted 3 months. Maybe AMAZON should eliminate this supplier. For now I'll just go back to the hardware store for my bulbs. Local stores make good on this sort of fiasco.
