MINOR'SClam Base, 16 Ounce

I use Minors when I make clam chowder, it takes it to a whole other dimension. It makes a fantastic Northwest Coast Clam Chowder!

My husband absolutely needs this when he makes his yearly clam chowder at Christmas. We could no longer find it in stores so we ordered it on Amazon. Pretty expensive for a small 16 oz tub.

My recipe for clam chowder called for clam base and I couldn’t find it in our local stores I ordered it from Amazon. I thought it gave and extra good flavor to the soup. Be careful not to use too much as it is extremely salty.

Not as good as the Better than Bouillion clam base but a close second with no off flavor and not too salty.

I make a lot of soups and sauces and this is great for umami with a touch of subtle sweetness.

I love all of the Minor soup based. I use the clam base for making my RI clam chowder. I us d to use another brand, but this base is so much better.

Do not purchase, I will never purchase this again. Pint size clam base. Will expire in 2 months. Arrived September 4, 2024 expires December 8, 2024. Obviously a waste of money.

This product we use for many dishes, fish cakes, chowder, soups etc. it does ad flavor - salt is part of how to preserve the base, use accordingly
