These actually work for my needs. I've got a hydroponic tank I use to grow basil, and I tried some pH strips that wouldn't give me reasonable readings - they didn't indicate tap water was about 7, they didn't change in slightly acidic water, etc. These ones react with the solutions I test accurately, at least they correspond with a digital pH meter.I haven't tried them at the very low end of the pH scale, but in the pH 4-6 range, so far so good.

This tool is a staple in my DIY skincare formulating hobby.Use to measure the specific pH of my serums/creams (need to be pH of 5-6), much more accurate of a reading than a simple 0-12 pH strip. Color gradient is very defined so precise viewing/measuring is easy.I greatly prefer this product to the Micro Essentials 0-6 pH strip Roll (which is one long roll of pH strip that you dispense similar to Scotch tape) as the single strip is much easier to use and read.

Use for checking the pH on canned good recipes before putting up and after opening. Digital pH meter I bought before these was not dependable.
