The principle components of the product, active herbal ingredients and glycerin, do not contain a dietary source of fat. \n\nBoth k/cal and percentage of minimum fat are required to be listed on pet food labels, however on dosage form products (such as herbal, vitamin, and mineral supplements) the requirements are different which is why you don't find those indicators on the label. \n\nGenerally speaking, herbs, vitamins and minerals do not contain enough protein, fat, fiber, etc. to warrant testing or a placement on the label, particularly at the recommended daily intake levels. If you have to, you can administer directly to the mouth, but if you're going to do it that way, we would suggest measuring the dose into a separate syringe and mixing with some food or water before giving it to your pet.
