I have the original of this from 18 years ago that was crude compared to this new tool. The construction and finish are very good; solid and highly polished. In 18 years I never had an individual tool bend so no concern about materials or design. Highly recommended.

This is a good tool. Well made from quality materials. Nicely designed so it fits easily in your hand. Pretty light as well.And tools galore. Four of them. Three of them to assist with various kinds of buttons and a fourth to help with zipper pulls and pulling apart knots.For me, though, it seems to be overkill. All of my button assistance needs can be handled by a traditional buttonhook. Two of the ViVi’s button tools are actually more complicated to use than the traditional buttonhook.However, I think the usefulness of this toll will be largely determined by the dexterity of your fingers and hands. My dexterity, at this point, thankfully isn’t greatly limited. But I can see where a person would less dexterity would find this tool more useful.I’m not disappointed that I bought this. As I said, it’s a well-designed, well-made tool. But I am not sure I won’t return it because I still haven’t decided how useful it is to me.Jerry

Husband with fingers numb from carpel tunnel - this gadget makes it possible for him to button his shirts! Sturdy, compact, better than floppy-ended buttoners. A bit of a learning curve but definitely worth it! Easy to use for buttoning your own shirts or a shirt on someone else.

Struggling with shoulder issues and I needed something that would work not only at home but also be convenient for use at work. I can put this in my pocket and easily keep it with me all day. Works great for metal studs on jeans and standard buttons on dress pants or shirts. Video is helpful to get started but you will soon figure out what works best with your restrictions.

I do not need this every day, but when I need it, it performs.When arthritis kicks up, it opens and closes buttons on shirts and jeans.Pulls men's zippers when they go too low to pull up. This is my go-to tool.It is heavy and sturdy, not really pocketable, it sits on the dresser. Recommended.

Don’t buy, zipper thing kind of works, but if you can’t use your hands properly due to a stroke or arthritis or MS, there’s no way you’re gonna get the buttons or a rivet through any buttonhole.Waste of money

Nice well made product. That being said, it did not work for my relative with rheumatoid arthritis, it was just to large and cumbersome. Great to have all tools together in one unit, but for people with limited dexterity, I think the individual tools would be better, Returned.
