John Williams for Beginning Piano Solo - John Williams Book with Simplified Sheet Music for Piano

My kids are not beginner as in Mary Had a Little Lamb, but they are beginner in the sense that this was a bit challenging. They have enjoyed trying to play all the pieces. Some we recognize and can figure out what it should sound like, some we don't recognize as well and its been interesting seeing how you think it should sound and then hearing it play. All in all, I am super happy with this purchase. Sometimes its a bit uninspiring to play only what the piano teacher assigns. This book has brought some of the love of playing back.

Bought for my young neighbor who is learning piano. Sounds wonderful coming through the connecting wall. Some are above her expert level but she and her music teacher have found some she can practice. Expect her to use the book as she gets older.

Grandson loved the songs. Instructor reworked fingering for better coordination. Planning on Jurassic World theme for recital.

My son is obsessed with movie music, so we purchased this book so he could start to tinker a few of the soundtracks out on piano. His piano teacher loves this version. Says it's the perfect mix of the songs and the ease needed for a younger (10yo) piano student. Even my twin daughters can tinker along on some of the songs!Highly recommended!

Definitely not for beginners maybe a few years in. The songs are great just well above for us. Will keep and play when ready

Both my boys are beginning piano student and loved flipping through this book to find familiar songs to try. The reduction seems good for early students while still a little challenging. I can’t wait for one of them to learn the Jurassic Park theme!!

I don’t have the slightest clue how these are for beginners. My son is a beginner and he can’t read them. I’m quite far past the beginner level but I’m not great at piano or keyboard. I cannot read most of these tabs.The reason is because of the complicated note sequences and symbols. This is just not even close to a beginners book.

I bought this book so my class piano students could pick pieces to play for their finals. They had fun with them.

I got this thinking it would be great as I had just started playing but it’s not easy unless you have basic music reading understanding

Most are very simple arrangements and are good for my daughter who is grade 1 + standard to play more well known and enjoyable music for pleasure alongside her lesson music. She really likes the Jurassic Park theme in particular. Would be a little dull for players above her level though I think.Dan Coates does a fab John Williams collection for easy piano which is good for players at a bit of a higher standard than this book is aimed at, which is one of my personal favourites.
