Titan Incubators HIGH LEG Chick Brooder Hen Special Model 40x50

I was a bit disappointed it comes with a 2 pin plug on! I think it would be good to know before you buy as this could cause a problem if you desperately needed it!But I will say that once I purchased a 3 pin shaving plug and tested it out I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works.

This was a fairly close fit in the chick house and one of my chicks got stuck in the space between the leg and cage wall which was fatal. I managed to save another from the same fate before buying a larger cage so the chicks couldn’t get trapped again. Be careful and ensure there is enough room available around the brooder so this doesn’t happen to you too.

Really happy with this brooder. It's really simple to adjust and you can have the legs at different heights so smaller chicks can creep under the small end and the big ones can be under the higher bit. Be warned that they like sitting on top of it when they are old enough!

Good product , did have to send first one back due to a defect . But company sorted it and was all ok in the end. I also have comfort chick brooders and I would say they are probably built abit better . With the added feature of a on or off red light . Unfortunately the Titan doesn’t have this feature . But all seems working well

Chicks loved it, not as harsh or hot as a lamp, also seems a lot safer too. Chicks would huddle underneath and happily jump on it with no side effects.I have used for brooding several batches of chicks and never had a problem once.

I have 40 quails happily keeping warm underneath this. Good value for money. The only negative feedback I would give is that there is no on/off switch or light to indicate when it is on and hot.

Really good brooder for a large number of chicks or duckling. Easy to clean.

not yet used - eggs in incubator, but it looks ideal
