Kurt Adler 8-Inch Photo Frame Stocking Holder, Shiny Silver

i really like this stocking holder- it is surprisingly heavy and larger than i expected. the photo frame is a wonderful touch to be able to personalize it and change it year after year. the silver is not an especially "shiny" silver like in the description, but more of a dullish silver (think pewter). i was desperate for a holder just before Christmas so paid a lot for it, this is the only reason it is four stars. definitely worth ~$20 if you can get it on sale.

I bought this to use for my husband stocking, whom passed away in October. I loved it's heaviness, and that it heals a picture. The one reason I didn't give five stars was because the silver was a little smudge and you can't really wipe it clean.

Sturdy and attractive stocking holder. I bought on sale after Christmas so haven't used yet; however, I'm looking forward to displaying photographs for each of the stockings I'll hang next Christmas.

This would have had 5 stars but one of the holders was very shoddy. I ordered 5 and the other 4 were great. The bad one looks like it does not even belong with the others, the finish is different, the hanger is bad and even the snowflake at the top is different!. Very disappointed.

I ordered five of these. I was disappointed to find that the silver finish was in fact dirty/scratched/tarnished as noted by other reviewers. The damage was primarily by and around the snowflake where it was welded together, however there were also random spots of damage around the photo frame as well. While some are okay with that, I was not; to me the flaws were quite extensive and too much to overlook. Also, one of the glass photo coverings was broken and it simply wasn't worth it to me to keep them.

I gave these to my parents so I'm not sure how nice they are but they looked nice. I thought I needed them for our family but I found our original so didn't need them anymore.

This has good weight to it and will last for a while. Built pretty good.

I am really happy with this purchase. I was just about to click buy on a Pottery Barn stocking holder for twice the price when I came across this one. It is very generously sized and seems pretty well constructed. (sticker says made in India... FYI)
