Don’t Buy!!
The battery quit charging after 6 months. Will not keep a charge at all. I have to use the power cord in order to be able to the computer

Don't waste your time like I did
The battery is not recognized by my HP laptop or Windows 10. Even though the laptop can run off the battery, it is not recognized as present and the charge state is not indicated, which makes it all but useless to me.Seemingly randomly, the battery is sometimes recognized but the charge state is inaccurate and doesn't update.

Good battery life (3-4 hrs), but intermittently needs to be reseated to charge?
By and large, I like this battery - it's restored my 9470m from half an hour of battery life, to 3-4 hours depending upon what I'm doing. However, I have had several cases in which I've needed to remove & re-seat the battery, as it was available to power the computer, but wouldn't actually take a charge. This wasn't happening with my older battery, so I suspect it's an issue with the terminals on this new one, or perhaps with the fit - it requires more force to seat than my OEM battery, so maybe the clips on the edge are pulling it away from the terminals just a bit? In any case, for the price, it's a pretty good value. I don't have enough use on the battery to make any sort of guess as to longevity, but at this price, I can probably replace it once a year and still be ahead of an OEM replacement, cost-wise...

Great Value
Always thought replacement batteries were really expensive...this was priced right and has been working great. Battery life is really good. Hadn't noticed any overheating during use or charging. I would recommend.

Easy to carry, stores well
Love this pop up laundry basket. They told flat and fit behind my laundry basket. Have used this kind for at least 20 years. I don't remember where I bought my first one but I was delighted to find one on Amazon. A bit higher price than the first one but..... I can carry it with one hand and I can see where I am headed. I have stairs so that's important. It is versatile and I can use it then fold it up out of the way. It is suprisingly durable but don't push it's limits with weight.

Puffed up after only 6 months.
Battery lasted about a year and is now so puffed up that the laptop will not sit flat.
