I like that this tuner can be used on a regular computer instead of being limited to Android. The tuner works great. It comes with a little antenna and an adapter to use a regular outdoor or indoor hdtv antenna which is useful in my case because the little antenna wasn't able to pick up signal inside of my house but I can use it with the outdoor antenna fine. I didn't liked that the app is very slow to scan for channels. It has a red light that indicates when the tuner is working or not. Also, it has a micro USB port that allows to have a usb cable connected as an extension for those phone cases that are thick and won't allow an easy connection of devices like this tuner or other OTG devices.

This unit works great so far and I like the fact it comes with the all cables and adapters you'll most likely need. The OTG extension cable is important, because most people have cases on their phones and the unit will not be able to plug directly in without the extension cable. Also, another important feature it has is the ability to power the device separately. (cable included) Otherwise, the unit would be a battery hog. (all of the similar device, not just this one)The reason I took off one star is for the Android app. It works fine, but I just don't like the UI and some of the functions are written in a way which make it a little confusing.I also want to point out that the small 4" antenna that comes with this device is fine if you are trying to receive stations under 20 miles away. I'd say if your stations are more than 15 miles away, consider buying a cheap set of rabbit ears. (a few are available on Amazon)I am trying to find another app that may work with this device. I already tried several other apps from the Play Store, but none of them could connect to the device. All of them seem to be manufacturer specific. If anyone finds another app that works, please respond to my comment. Thanks

I CANNOT find a place download livestation player FREE to make it work!!! I bot it to watch TV on my laptop and it appears it will cost me for the app than it does for the tuner!!!THIS BORDERS ON FRAUD THE PRODUCT IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT ITIT WON'T WORK!!!!

I drive around all day so this works great for me. when ever I stop for work for a few hours I can pull up the local broadcast. helpful for drivers like me.

I tried the attached antenna, a larger antenna, and the output of the cable box and never found any channels. I should have found channel 3 from the cable box. This means it is broken or never will work anywhere. Also the driver for Windows 10 is missing and unavailable, so I was limited to Android usage. Do not waste your time and money.

I sent this back absolute garbage you literally have to scan for channels from one room in your house to another.

This is a great product if you can get it working. I wanted to use this on my surface pro tablet. The drivers that came with the device were difficult to download. Once I did get them downloaded, they didn't work. I had to use driver finder software. Once I got the correct driver installed, it works beautifully. The software is user friendly, and the picture is beautiful!

JUST GOT IT GOT TO TRY IT OUT THIS WEEK

Plus:- windows and android- cheap,- comes with many accessories: - adapter to common antenna plug (F-type adapter) - usb extension - usb to microusb (to connect the dongle to computer- very nice software in theory (EPG, settings, LAN, channel info), with PVR (not tested)- Indicator in percentage of both Strength AND QUALITY of signal received (amazing to have signal quality at this price)- The build quality is nice, with green light that illuminates when signal is workable.- Image is crisp (on small sreen)*** The BAD- the image is slowed down, and sound is de-synchronized (unwatchable).- the image cut every 5 to 10 secs seconds to catch up with the sound, and when it does, it pixelates for 1 second (see a youtube video that describes this)- the tuner is not very sensitive: even with my roof monted antenna, the signal is at 60% (at best) and quality is at 30% (at best)Conclusions:the idea is amazing, the software is also almost amazing. It seems that if they update the video decoding process, this device would be amazing .... unfortunately it lets me down just at the finish line.I will probably return it ... or keep it as a signal meter to adjust my antennas ect ... but I would probably not buy again and put more money instead to have a better one

Was a little hesitate to place the order because of the unfavorable comments and the low average score. However, with the tuner received and later the device drivers sent from the support, though the provided support URL did not work, it works perfectly. The only to be noted is the antenna. The one in the package is pretty small, and thus the signal is not quality enough. With a better antenna, the TV quality is perfect. I have tried in Windows 7, Windows 10 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 (Android), they all work well. I will probably buy another one for my daughter.

The windows software (latest v3.3 from 2y ago) is dead, just like their website.The Android software is old and crashes forever on the recent Android anything.Hardware wise, it's alive, decent quality/accessories.The good side: there are many other softwares for windows.As for Android... Buy an old tablet/pad/cell device. Then it will work with it.
