Sometimes an idea comes to fruitation,no flutan, no fruity, perfection...
Old audio guy here. A few months ago built a small room 2 channel analog audio system on a so so budget. Part of the fun was cutting hype. Purchased equipment I knew could punch above weight. In short was all about sound. Never left home either, all online.Analog only if you count CDs as such. Probable better music delivery description would be....if I can't drop it, fumble, spew forth bad words, break plastic cases, or spend half an hour putting it in a sleeve...it was a no go.Trust me, the excellent Adwitt switcher is in here somewhere. Also, nothing against the young un's and file transfer technology. Gonna put one of those systems together soon. My hope is kids find fine music in any way they can. In my day, the old guys would make fun of our 8 Track systems. Which turned to cassette to digital Cds to MP3s to DVDs, to streaming to??? Anyway, we all will be back to reel to reel someday. Excuse me I digest.Big thanks to Amazon Prime. Nabbed some wonderful deals like my Pioneer CD player. Love PSB speakers. Prime sent me the wonderful "can't believe the music reproduction" out of shoebox sized PSB Alpha 3s. Everybody I demo'd the speaks to, essentially couldn't believe the sound quality. Could rock it loud within reason too..So.... Album zips into upgraded Denon 300F turnie thing, then into a Bellari PA 550 pre-amp slings thru a Bellari PA 570 EQ to Mr. Brit Cambridge axa 25 to....The wonderful PSB Alpha 3s.Sounded really good. But, in daydreaming/designing the system really had the PSB Alpha 5's in mind. I just clicked the PSB 3's?? Was going to send them back, but boy howdy the 3s sounded so good. Kept playing them, broke in nicely..but never got the Alpha 5's outo mind. Later, got a great deal on some new PSB Alpha 5's. Just great sound from small system. Put the 3's on top the 5's until I figured what to do.Funny thing, they looked cool in this configuration. Even Mrs Old Man gave her thumbs up. I think it was a thumb. Then the brain wheels began churning. Every time I looked at the speaks thought, how would they sound together?Normally a poor idea. In my humble opinion most often when pushing 2 different sets of speaks things turns out bad. My 7 decade old ears still love good audiophile sound. So worried, the audio speaker inequality tends to bring the sum of output quality down. But, The lil Canadian PSB beauties sounded great, very very similar. Once you feed um they hang around...no that's cats and son in laws.but...My bare bones amp equipment experiment left me no A/B speaker selection. Let alone an A/B combo play. Back in my 1970s giant Kenwood amp days do believe I could connect the entire neighborhood's speaks. Well, an exaggeration but I drove 4 hair on chest big suckas to ear bleeding volumes. (must come clean... they were Bose) Note, not a great idea for dating or future ability to hear. But how to combine speakers in 2025. Not many products offer this option. But, yes one. A simple inexpensive one too. Adwitt 2 Zone. Yet. Old guy was very happy with the sound from his modest system. Very happy. But, those PSBs were sitting there every time I walked by. Almost spoke. Almost like a scary movie, "hey old guy hook us up."Well I did. Found this fine inexpensive product in Amazon. Ordered it. It came. I hooked. The Adwitt component much to my surprise operated flawlessly unlike my KC Chefs recently. The PSB speakers combined gave the system sound a much larger soundstage. Adwitt ++++ Sounds beefier too, without losing the higher field PSB is known for.Sometimes it pays to be silent. The Adwitt had zero bleedover or any loss in sound. My new lil room system now has a quick change option for future speaker comparisons too. Cool. A system picked up on sale or refurbished parts has no business sounding so good. In my opinion.

Nice unit.
I have an amp that makes a weird noise when it turns on. I added this to the chain and now I can leave the speakers off til after the noise.

Not a cheap peice of plastic, solid!
Well built peice , feels very sturdy. This 2 channel speaker switch is just what I needed for a pair of remote speakers in another room. Only complaint is that speaker input is mismarked, switch #1 operates speaker #2 thats why 4 stars

Worked great! I like it.
Larger wires a little tricky to insert but turned out ok with a little effort Terminal clasps helpful. Used this to switch indoor to outdoor speakers I have my "surround/theater 5 speaker/+subwoofer" setup working indoor, and can easily switch "front" two speakers to outdoor with a "stereo" setup for just outdoor music. The amplifier is 100w only so this small switch is not tasked with much.
