I read the reviews and for the most part I expected it to be cheaply made for the price. Honestly I didn't care. It was only for a one day event. But I am here to give you the deets....not confuse you.I am 5'3" 234 lbs and a 40DD bra size with 42 inch hips. I usually wear a size XL or 1x in a maxi dress.I ordered and received a XL. After I ordered I panicked a little because I wondered if I should have gone up a size or two....As you can see in the photo the dress is perfect! I got so many compliments and it is very comfy. I will say I had to wear a black bra because the spandex on the top is kinda see thru a little bit. I have bigger arms and calves so I know what it is like to have clothing fit but be outrageously tight at the arms. This however is not the case. I am very happy with my purchase. I took pictures to show the dress Length, arms and also in the sunlight to show you how see through (it is not if you dress it properly). And to answer the BIG question: NO IT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE COSTUME MATERIAL 😒

. The fabric is pretty cheap its a slightly rough synthetic fabric. Its like Halloween-costume quality fabric. The seams are very noticeable in the back of the dress. Its too fancy-seeming to wear casually but to cheap to wear seriously.

It’s very cute but the top material is spandex so it shows bra lines and the print is also sewn differently making the front look a little awkward. The model picture looks better but that’s to be expected. I went to return but decided to keep. I ordered a large as other reviews said sleeves were tight. Normally wear a size 6-8 dress, 5’ 4” and weigh 145.

The color is as bright and vivid as the picture. I purchased the red. The material stretches. I am 5'6 and weight 220. I'm very bottom curvy and the large is almost too large but was perfect. I feel if I purchased a medium it would have been too tight. The size chart is pretty accurate to me. P.S. the top part makes your boobies look larger. A plus for me as I am lacking in that department.

This is a very nice dress, on the pic it looks like a top and a bottom but it’s a dress the dress color is as it shows. I gave it a 3 because it is very thin, you would have to wear a slip or something underneath it. I am 130 and 5’5 and I ordered a medium and it fit great. The material is soft sort of like silk. Only thing I would have liked was for the dress to be a tad bit longer. It comes to the top of where my ankles start and I like long dresses to be actually long lol

It was ok.. does run smaller in the bust asshe's arms than a true 2x.. but it's good for the money
