I love using iron skillets for cooking. This is so much easier than using pot holders. My only problem was that both are too long for my handles. I bought the single add on handle cover previously. It was a perfect fit. I was disappointed that this was not the same product.

These fit on the handles of my stainless steal pans as well as, I'm sure, cast iron. Much easier if you put them on BEFORE the pan heats up! I'm leaving them on after I wash the pans. Beats grabbing a hot handle or looking for a pot-holder.

Only on the pan for a couple of minutes with gas heat on low. Handle was too hot to pick up. Switched to the second one. Within a few seconds the pan handle became too hot to hold. Don’t waste your money on these. Potholder would work better. I have a silicone potholder that never lets the heat through.

These are nice, safer than using an oven mitt or pot holder. They do OK with heat resistance just be sure you keep the handle away from other heat sources on your stove or they do get hot.

I was surprised when I went to pick up an iron skillet using the handle holder that the holder was hot.
