6 year old approved.

This is still too hard for our 6 year old to read, but he loves for us to read it to him and I am sure he will be reading it to us before long. There isn't endless content but that is what makes it a nice early reader, Story discuses Tri meaning 3, the Frill on triceratops being for protection, uses the word foe for enemy, Herbivore being a plant eater and gentle. Over all it is just enough vocabulary and content for an emergent ready. Pictures are fun. we also have the Tyrannosaurus one, which is also fun. I hope to add the earth and Moon versions to our library as well.
