Hello are these bpa free? it says they are safe but safe is up for interpretation, i only want bpa free.

I'm not positive. I'm growing African violets, not food. I think you can email the manufacturer if you click on the name on the sold by portion of the page. It does work very well.

Is this able to hang on the window?

You may want to try one of those suction cup shelves to out it on. It does not have anything that will let is hang on a window and I would expect it would be kinda heavy when full of water and soil.

I didnt get water gauage or instructions either

They should have been in the empty planter when you received it so I would return and get a replacement. Or ask them to mail them to you -you have to snap the water gauge in anyway so they mail be able to just mail it to you !
