A supposed powerhouse antioxidant
Supplements like this are hard to review as it is widely known that the supplement market is very unregulated in most countries. This was produced in the EU, Portugal. The best review I can write is basically a leap of faith that the product will do what it says ... and my research on what Apple Polyphenols generally are said to do. Unlike a wrinkle cream or a protein powder where you can see the effects the product has, or doesn't have, for the most part if this works, it works internally. So, here is what I found after using the product. This is essentially a 30 day supply as the recommended dosage is 1 pill per day x 30 pills (which at 600 mg each are pretty large!). The packaging looks like it was made on an inkjet printer ... I know they say not to judge a book by its cover, but this product looks like store-brand food colouring the way the packaging was designed and made.My research comes from pubmed articles, which is what doctors and scientists use. Most self-health websites give very basic info. about Apple Polyphenols because studies are relatively new. Many studies mention amazing properties ... the ability to prevent cancers or regulate obesity and high cholesterol. A magic pill? Does it also grow into a beanstalk? Although some research does back up the claims of what it is supposed to do, there is little concrete evidence that it does anything. This is made of 80% Apple Polyphenols, 5% Phloridzin, and (I guess) 15% other stuff. Acacia gum is listed on the box, which is essentially a binding agent to help it stay in pill form. There are a few ingredients listed on the website that aren't om the box. Mostly things that help put it into pill form. The jury is out on Philoridzin. Some studies show health benefits. Other studies show that it could lead to bone density issues in diabetic rats. I'd say from a health standpoint, it's pretty non-dangerous on the whole, most of the product likely being derived from apple tree bark. At 5%, likely you don't have much to worry about. But keep in mind how unregulated the suppliment/vitamin industry is.The pills are on the large size, making them technically a little tough to swallow. They also taste like wood or candle wax and leave a light lingering chalky taste in your mouth, even quickly swallowed without chewing.Overall, can I guarantee or even attest to these pills working? Nope. Can I look at the research and say that they probably should work? Yes. If you have studied Apple Polyphenols, they MAY be one of the more powerful antioxidants. If I took these for 3 months, I'd probably be able to see a different weight, or not, given the longevity of use and the product's claims regarding weight-loss. Anything else is speculation loosely based on science. Choose your leap of faith ... but if these do even part of what they claim to, they'd be worth their weight in gold.

tough review
these are providing me no side effects, that is good...they also are providing me no noticeable benefits, which as an antioxidantu would not expect much. so hard to review, other than, no side effects...i put faith in the fact anti oxidants really work! there is a lot of science behind their benefits...large pills, i open them up and put them in my health drink....

Large capsule shaped tablet
This supplement come in a unit equivalent to a large multi vitamin tablet and because there are no restrictions on the label against crushing this supplement I crushed one. The supplement is bitter, but mixed with applesauce, it was palatable. As an apple extract, this appears to be one of the safer supplements, but very little info including country of origin was provided.

Saw no benefit but no problems either!
I can't say that this helped me in any way as I only used it for 30 days. I can say that I experienced no negative side effects that I am aware of.
