This machine worked great for our campground fun fair! The scope it comes with is not the best, but we had gloves and packed the snow cones by hand and it worked just fine!

3 summers and it still works great. Children should not use it without supervision there are razors that make that fluffy snow. I make lemon 🍋 ices for dessert so I don’t use the syrup, I also use pina colada mix to make a pineapple coconut. Since I’m controlling the sugar you can have it with juice as a dessert every night as a treat. As a grandma there is no high fructose syrup. I like just plain snowy ice and you don’t have to worry about your teeth. It takes regular size ice cubes and since it’s water I give it a good rinse let it air dry, I leave it on the counter during the summer. You can make all your own sweet sauces, I forgot I make strawberries when they are in season. Sometimes I use a little powdered sugar and bit of lemon to balance out the sweet and sour and I buy concentrated fruits and lemon juice. No mess. They actually get out of the pool for sno-cones!

Our granddaughter had so much fun with making the snow cones with supervision. The process is simple. They enjoyed the multicolor snow cones the best. The size is perfect, great power, quite durable and the noise level is minimum.

My kids absolutely love this (the adults too) We bought this as a birthday gift for our daughter and used it the first time at her birthday party. Since then we have used this dozens of times. Sometimes it takes a minute to get the ice to shave right but once you have a groove it fills quick and fills a lot. We typically run through around 30 snow cones in a sitting. Never had any issues with the motor or leaks. Its not crazy bulky for storage and the fact that it holds a couple cones is a handy feature. Probably one of the best things we ever bought off amazon

item works great as advertised. I think it's over-sized, it takes too much space considering I don't shave that much ice. plastic case is weak, most parts are plastic. I should have bought the metal ice shaver which is smaller in size and more durable. because the clear case has s small door and can't be removed, it's very hard to clean it or dry it off after each use. if I purchased a smaller unit that doesn't come with a case, it would be easier to clean and easier to use. I could hardly fit my small hands inside the door to retrieve the ice, so if you have bigger hands you may struggle a little bit to remove the ice. I have an ice maker which produces smaller cubes of ice,and it works fine using smaller cubes. I have not tried the unit on larger cubes. The ice shaving is fine, and not coarse as shown in the picture of the product. I don't think you can use over sized ice cubes or pucks. I have seen other smaller units on amazon that allows you to use larger pucks of ice, where you can freeze water in a bowl and use one large piece of ice however you can't do that with this units. I would definitely not purchase again, and I would purchase a smaller unit, that would allow me to use larger ice pucks, so I just have to wait until it breaks so I can buy a different ice shaver
