Recommended model for 24inch in 2019
After extensive search I had decided to purchase this model. Sharing my findings:1. This model has minimal screen bleeding compared to all other models and brands.2. Colours and quality of the display is sublime.3. Dell's warranty start from a date company decides. So it's better to go for latest available model and from a Authorised seller. Else you'll wind up in having smaller warranty duration. Dell registers each model using service tag and warranty details can be checked online. All dell monitors come with 3 years warranty. So if buy older model, chances are you may get a 2 or 1 year warranty.4. Don't expect great sound as speakers are only 5 watts. It has audio out. So external speakers can be attached. But overall clarity is good. No disappointment.5. Doesn't have a vesa mount. So vertical height adjustment is not possible. However you can wall mount it using some engineering tricks and a compatible wall mount stand.6. If you screen has too high matt finish then visual quality degrades. If it's too glossy then reflection becomes an issue. This model is in middle of both. Neither too glossy nor too high matt finish.7. If you're looking better than this then go for U series which has ultra sharp screen. But if you want bigger screen than this, then check monitor resolution as well. For 24inch monitor, 1920x1080 resolution is perfect. If you go for large screen for same resolution then pixel size bloats and quality degrades. For 27 inch, optimal resolution is 2560 x 1440. For 32inches, go for 4K resolution monitors. But price of such models is high.8. Overall this monitor is great at 15k budget and won't disappoint you.

Best 24 Inch Monitor for Entry Level Gaming or Multimedia
PROS: - Minimal Screen Bleed compared to my returned screen (LG 24MP88HV & Asus VZ249H) - 15K price is worth for this beautiful screen - The inbuilt speakers with MAXX Audio give very good sound compared to the LG (LG is louder, Dell is clearer) - The Matt+Gloss Finish should be fine for any one as long as it is not direct light window near by. (I was using an older Dell with full Gloss, it was superb quality but the gloss was an issue. And matt screen does not give much color popping comparatively hence dont go for it if you prefer to watch anything colourful :P)CONS: - Actually none, fully satisfied.I am not posting pics now, will do later if possible.

Great aesthetic and lovely details
Brought this product a few days ago and so far, so good. The colours are accurate, the details are good, the sound is okay, the quality and the design of the product are both great! This being the newer variant to Dell S2418H, has almost the same features, but only better, except for I guess maybe the sound. But it's workable and not so bad.

Monitor showing Color Banding and Pixel Inversion.
Hey guys, do not buy this third quality Monitor because it is showing these two nasty issues color banding and pixel inversion. It took me 15-20 days to notice these issues because my previous Dell S2418H Monitor didn't have these two issues. Now I'm regretting my purchase. If I already knew about these two issues than I would never have bought this third quality product.

Super quality monitor with built in speakers
I was looking for a good monitor with sound for my desk at work. This is perfect. I was able to de-clutter my desk by getting rid of the external speakers.

Elegant looking with not so elegant underpinnings.
I like the color replication and the thin bezels of the monitor, but it's overall quality lacks. The stand is kinda wobbly, but stiff enough. I really dislike using power bricks and this sadly uses one. It's got 2 HDMI ports on it, enough for a console and a PC, or whatever combination one needs. I also don't like the glossy screen which is annoying in bright rooms.

Great quality - but quality control issues
The monitor has great picture quality. The glossy surface allows colors to pop right off the monitor. I'm sorry, but if people rated this monitor low because it doesn't have anti-glare, you should have done your research. 98% of the monitor market uses anti-glare, so excuse me if this monitor along with one other uses glossy to make the image richer. The options are bountiful if you prefer anti-glare so quit your sassy frassing. The issue that I am having, and am discovering, is that the monitor "lottery" is real. I ordered 2 of these, and they both have pixel inversion or "pixel walk". You can see faint vertical lines when content on the screen is moving, or if you move your head. Static content is fine, but games with motion, movies with motion, creates a vertical screen door effect. After researching, many monitors have this, and it is apparently the result of bad panel voltage. Now you can return it, but because a majority of monitors have this inversion, chances are you won't luck out, because then the chances of other things being perfectly in line such as 1) no backlight bleed 2) okay IPS glow are also included in your chances upon the new return item.Sorry Dell. I will use this monitor because the colors are very rich, but you should at least teach your Dell "expert technical" reps a thing or two about monitors instead of just running them through the process of returning. It seems like technical experts should be technically knowledgable and actually know about their field. I would fully expect them to speak monitor jargon to me instead of saying "okay sir let's put a return ticket in for you."UPDATE: Lines seem to disappear when you bring up the OSD on screen menu and also after the monitor is on after half hour. Seems that voltage regulates during the course of it being on or possibly it warming up helps.
