Cloud 9 Hanging Chaise Lounger

Just received this and put together in no time; easy and simple to assemble. It is sturdy, well designed and very attractive. It is more orange than red, but I had read the reviews and I wanted a more burnt orange color anyway. It is most comfortable and not difficult to get into and out of. We are both 68 years young and had no problem at all. Right after we got it all together and set up in the corner of the pool cage, the rain began in a deluge and I thought the cushion would be way to wet to sit on in the morning. However, the cushion is water-proof, the rain rolled right off. The umbrella is good if the sun is coming from the right direction, but is not designed to provide lots of shade. In addition, we took off the arm rests because they made me feel squeezed into the chair. If you want shade put it somewhere out of the sun. MY objective was to get the sun and it is perfect. If I had room in my pool cage, I'd buy another.

The beauty and comfort of this lounger is unmatched! The assembly was what I expected and nothing about it was difficult or overly complicated. The instructions were a well-worded and included pictures. The chair is heavy, and very sturdy—- and fit nicely on my deck (as pictured). In more narrow spaces, I recommend using bungee cords to keep the lower portion of the lounger from swaying into other objects such as a side table, deck railing or screen door.

The absolutely BEST chair ever. I can not say enough for the comfort, design, packaging, assembly, etc. of this chair. I love sitting in it, now my husband has started to take it over so another one is on the way to us. I also ordered one for my adult daughter and adult son (early Christmas?). This chair is great. It is even comfortable without the pad, which is a very nice pad. Assembly was easy and pretty well explained. My ONLY concern is that when the umbrella is off the spines could poke someone in the eye. I have tied them together with a rubber band to put them all together and make them more visible and all in one place. It was a real challenge to figure out how the get the umbrella on all 4 points but I finally decided to put clothes line clips on each one as I put each spine in place and after they are all four in place remove the clips.

I am finally now posting a review after purchasing and finally putting the chair together. First off the box is heavy. This chair is not light. I had to open the box and carry pieces upstairs to be able to carry. Putting together definitely needs tow people to manipulate. But it didn’t take long and the chair is amazingly comfortable. As luck would have it, it rained the day after I built it. I had stored the cushion but the chair, webbing and umbrella dried quickly. Love relaxing in this thing. Only hard part is getting in and out is a bit tricky. But it is amazing once you are in it.

Seems / feels / looks sturdy and well made. The odd little umbrella / canopy thing is a joke - I never intended to attach it which is a good thing as the unit arrived missing the knob and attachment jig. I contacted the distributor about the missing part (in case we decide we do want to use the 'umbrella' at some point in the future) and they quickly responded. They could not supply me with the missing part. But, they tried to work with me (which is good / important) and offered to either let me return the entire unit for an exchange or take a partial refund. This unit is VERY heavy. Seemed silly to ship it back and have another one sent out to me. I accepted their partial refund offer.I bought it for my hubby to use as a reading and TV watching chair in his work area. But, he didn't like it nearly as much as I do (LOL ...) so it went outside in the backyard. Which is fine since it's designed to be used outside. It is very comfortable, but would be much more comfortable (IMHO) if the leg section bent downwards a bit - which, to me, the picture sort of looks like it may bend a bit downwards in the knee zone. It doesn't. It is completely straight for the entire leg section. I'm going to search for a nice outdoor suitable roll cushion to see if putting that under one's knees makes it better. Don't get me wrong though - it is comfortable - just not as comfortable as I had hoped.It looks great out on the lawn. And, due to the heavy steel used and the general design of it, I expect it will last a good long time. Just to be safe, we bring the cushion in after using the chair. Our SoCAL sun is really strong and I don't want to lose use of this chair because we didn't protect the cushion. And, as you can see, it's a very custom shaped cushion. So, it's not one you can easily replace.Overall, I'm very happy with it ... and hubby is OK with it.

We bought 3 for my wife's birthday. Assembly was straightforward (extra pair of hands will help). We spend the better part of every evening sitting in them on the patio and love them. Just add Chardonnay and you have it made!Caution: since it is single point suspension, be sure YOUR center of gravity is under the suspension when you get in or out. Otherwise, entertainment ensues :-) The other caution is the sun shade is about eyeball height. We tilted them back so the front points are higher than eye level and the rear ones are lower. Problem solved.
