Komelon SL2825 Self Lock 25-Foot Power Tape

This tape measure works great. It feels like a solid build and works great. The auto lock feature works well and makes it easy when measuring. The measurements are easy to read. You can't beat the value for the price. Highly recommended if you like the auto lock feature in a tape measure.

I love “True Control” tape measures! They are so intuitive. I have Kobalt one that I’ve been using for years. Last week I used it in the rain, then wouldn’t completely retract. I nearly panicked. Fortunately, after I cleaned off the damp sawdust, it started working, again. But I realized that I should look for a backup. Kobalt no longer makes that tape, but I found this Komelon and, so far, I’m pleased with it.

This is the one to buy - inexpensive, easy to read with the high visibility markings, small size so easy to store, compared to my self-locking Milwaukee (soon to be returned), this one is flawless.

I am pleased with this heavy duty quality Tape Measure, and the self locking is easy on the thumb. When its time to retract the dispensed length, it does so gracefully at a decent safe speed, as not to cause lacerations or whiplash. The green glow-in-the-dark casing is a nice feature once the work area starts to dim, makes it stand out to quickly find.

This Komelon self-lock tape measure is solid and reliable. The self-locking feature makes it easy to extend and retract without snapping back. It feels sturdy and accurate, and the 25-foot length is perfect for most projects around the house or workshop. For the price, the quality is excellent. Very happy with this purchase!

Have usef it mow for over 6 months without problem. It reels back in every time after use. The 25 ft length is very handy in measuring walls and floors.

Durable, accurate and hight quality.

I love Komelon tapes. I grabbed this for my work bag as I travel for work. Light weight and just as sturdy as the bigger tapes without the bulk and weight. Lovely to use, smooth and does not jam.

I'm not sure if the self-locking mechanism was introduced by Komelon, but I'll never buy another tape again that doesn't have this feature. I am a professional carpenter and find it to be so much easier to use. They will wear out like any other tape measure, but the design makes them my go to brand now. I just bought six more to give to my carpenter/homeowner friends.

Easy to read and the lock feature works perfectly

Strange to say about a simple tape measure, but this is an oddly satisfying item. The tape is textured and feels nice, the weight is perfect, it thunks in a low reassuring thud when you stop it. Feels very solid in your hand. Never thought I could be so pleased about a tape measure, but this is just great quality.

absolutely love it. I work with tape everyday. They do break, but after a long use and abuse. I like the new tape I got-retracts so smoothly. I like the slim profile.
