It's For the Geeks
Being a tech geek, I like to DIY with new tech. There is a lot to be disappointed about this unit, but I give it four stars because I settle with these features that I must have --Radio: works and works great;Backup Camera: works great, the screen is clear and beautiful, even at night, good resolution for the purpose;BlueTooth: works, including phone call and music playing;Microphone: the built-in mic works, that saves time and effort for wiring an external one;GPS: works, I stuck it under the dashboard and still sense the satellite perfectly, another time-saving step;Map: It works great with the "Offline Maps & Navigation App" from the Play Store and I downloaded all the maps I need and set it as the default navigation app. Once the car is started, the radio resumes and then the map shows up. This is the most important feature. If this didn't work, I would have been totally disappointed and given it one star. The preinstalled map that came with the unit is bad, Google Map or Waze would need my mobile hotspot. I still have the Waze installed in case I needed to travel far, and in that case, I will turn on the hotspot on my phone. I have enough data to spend. I wanted the offline navigation map because I don't want to bother with turning on my mobile hotspot every time I need a map. Now, the unit works like a Garmin GPS unit by default. The bad:Many main promised features don't work. As mentioned, the map that preinstalled is garbage. That's a bad business decision. They well deserve those one-star reviews. The promised Phone Mirroring features doesn't work. It wasted me a lot of time trying to get it to work but after some thought, I don't see the point of mirroring my 6.4" phone to a 7" screen, which doesn't look much bigger and I might as well just use my phone. The lesson is that you don't need to use a fancy feature just because it's available. I settled with the features that I need and they all work for me.The unit doesn't come with a frame. All head unit that I have installed before came with one because each unit has a different measurement. Luckily, I have one in my garage that fits this one perfectly. The last bad point is that it is somewhat slow. But, for the price, you get what you pay for. I don't know what processor it has, but with 1GB of RAM, I think that's all you can expect.Overall, I am satisfied with what works. I am not too disappointed with what doesn't work because I don't need those feature and I don't spend much time in this old car. I installed it on my 2004 Honda CR-V, and this unit has already made my car look postmodern! For all the geeks who want to modernize their cars, I recommend it!

Almost perfect, but a little "naggy"
I really like this. I upgraded from a similar car stereo with the manufacturers' interface to this, with an Android interface, and wow - what a phenomenal difference!I can have it simply clone my phone, giving me all the addresses and map data that I already carry. I can install apps! That is pretty cool. I want to install a fitness app and blow it away with how fast I can run, but that seems a little childish, so I shall refrain. The radio is exceptional - tuning it could not be easier, and any extra data sent by the station (track title, station name ect.) is pulled in and shared with you.The GPS came on a very long wire. I expected to spend a couple of hours feeding the wire carefully to get the GPS into a good position. Before doing that, I tried just dropping it on top of the stereo and taking a test drive. It worked perfectly well! That was very pleasing."Naggy" - when testing the GPS, I had the map program running. Going with traffic flow suddenly the music stopped, and an irritated female voice announced "You are exceeding the posted speed limit" I was doing 38 in a 35. Now, I will concede this was speeding, but dang!I attached my back-up camera to it. When I put the car into reverse the screen shows the rear view and the audio stops. The stereo also has two USB connectors so I can easily plug in thumb drives loaded with music. Very pleasing. This unit does not have a CD drive. I was thinking I would miss that. Then I realized the last time I played a CD in my car was many years ago. The lack of a CD player makes the screen slightly larger. The screen is not just larger, it is very responsive to touch, making navigating all the menus easy. You can connect an OBDII Bluetooth transmitter to this. I have the transmitter, just not the time to set it up yet., you can download OBDII software from the Play Store, so I do not know if it has something specifically built in.The unit appears to be "rooted". You are warned that you can delete files that are needed for the system to work, something to avoid doing!

Bluetooth quits working after time like others said
The unit worked fine and flawlessly unit about 2 weeks ago the Bluetooth stopped working out of nowhere, I contacted Corehan they said to firmware update, still did nothing, they wanted me to inconvenience myself by unhooking every wire it took to hook it up yet I feel as though that is a big feat to do all that and send it back to China. They should really test these systems long term and quality control more because my issue is the same as tons of others and it's not easy hooking all of this up then sending it back like we have all the time in the world to tear our head units out.
