Comprehensive and Informative
It has one section and practice test for every SAT II. If you know which subject tests you are taking, then this is not the book for you. It just runs down some basics and some practice problems before giving the full exam. This book is ideal if you are undecided on which subject tests to take. If you don't know if you would get a better score on Biology or Chemistry, then take two hours to take both tests, and find out which would be better. Also an awesome aspect of the book is that it has all of the raw score to scaled score conversions. This really helps in knowing how many you have to get right to get a good score.

Good
This book contains a fairly decent amount of info about the tests. It includes one test for each of the subject tests, I needed this book last year for my SAT World History subject test. It helped me review questions that I never studied back in history class so this book was a good resource in practicing the subject tests. I highly recommend people to buy study guides for specific subject tests since this book only has limited material for each subject. Other than that, I still recommend people this book because it is informative and gives you insight on what the tests will be like.

Only gives ONE practice test per topic, but this is the only official set, so it's sort of a must-have despite that...
PROS:1. It's the official one, so you kind of have to use it, right? (there are also practice questions on their website, but that's an incomplete test, so this is the only place to get a full-length, official practice test)2. All of the questions are definitely the "right" level of hardness...CONS:1. There's only ONE practice test for each topic, which means that it really doesn't give you a lot of questions to practice2. It hasn't been updated in a few years -- that's a bit of a problem because AP tests have changed drastically, and there's a lot of confusion about whether the SAT subject tests have/will change accordingly (for example, you don't have to memorize colors for the AP tests any more, and it's not clear whether that will change for the SAT (since they're both CollegeBoard). It's great if you're going to be taking multiple subject tests, otherwise, you'll feel as though you just spent a ton of money for ONE practice test, which is a bit unfortunate.

Has ALL of the SAT subject tests in one book. Don't bother with individual SAT subject test books
I bought this book as well as the SAT subject test in mathematics level I and 2The Official SAT Subject Tests in Mathematics Levels 1 & 2 Study Guide and this book had exactly the same tests (Math 1 & 2) with explanations as are in the SINGLE subject test books so it's better to buy this one than buying individual subject test books. Same with US History!

The Math 1 test is not "all new"
My son practiced out of the official subject math 1 book published by the College Board. The single math 1 test in this new book is a complete copy of one of those four tests. So this publication is not "all new" as claimed. The chemistry test included is NOT a copy of one of the two chemistry tests sold separately by the College Board, so we are keeping it for that purpose. We hope the math 2, physics, Spanish and other tests my son may need later in his high school career will not be mere copies of previously published tests but we won't know until then. The publisher has many official tests to publish and they should only put official, and otherwise unpublished tests, in this book. Readers might do better purchasing each official subject test published by the College Board that their student plans to take and skip this book of 20 tests.

Great Support
My daughter was bent on taking an SAT subject test and we are so proud of her. We really wanted to help her out with the process. She really appreciated having this and the extra support it gave. She has now received an amazing scholarship so maybe this helped, right? Thank you College Board.

My son felt that it was pretty good value for the money
My son felt that it was pretty good value for the money. The tests are accurate in that they are coming from the College Board people who administer the test. You can get other tests online just to be safe.

One official test per subject in a giant book. Very helpful.
Giant book of tests, one per subject. The biology test in here is different from the two tests in the official SAT biology book from the college board, so if you get this you have a total of three practice tests for this subject. Based on other reviews, however, this may not not the case for all subjects. Also note that the biology test in here seems to be outdated - it asks about Monera, but that classification is no longer in use.
