Q: Is it variable voltage and what range

The 50 ampere power supply may be adjusted from 9.5 volts to 15 volts. But it is a voltage you set and leave. You set the voltage for the devices you need to power and then leave it at that setting. There is a small potentiometer by an LED you adjust with a voltmeter attached. I set mine to 13.8 volts. It works great. The power supply comes pre set to 12 volts.

Q: What is the ac current draw on this power supply? i know the dc current supplied can go up to 100a, i would like to know the ac current drawn.

When the input voltage is 110V, the AC current consumption is about 11a. This is a constant voltage power supply, It is not recommended to run with no load for a long time. The output current value depends on your device. Thanks.

Thanks for your question. You need other more powerful power supplies. According to the efficiency formula, it is recommended that you choose a Power Supply with a rated power of 1800watt or more. (Reason: It's rated at 100A, which means it will draw 100A. If your device draws 100A, it will output 100A, it will draw much more than 125A, This triggers the overload function and the power supply stops working.)
