AquaTeak The Original 15.5" Kai Corner Teak Shower Bench with Shelf

I got this seat because I needed it for the shower. I seen the reviews and compared over the competitors, I could have gotten a cheaper seat but the teak wood sold me and the reviews. The reason I needed this seat now is due falling down on the tile of my master bathroom 2 days ago and just living was a pain. Today I'm feeling a lot better but being on my feet more than 5 minutes is a chore. So I ordered this yesterday and got it today. I just got finished building it and took a shower. OMG! I was sitting on this seat thinking, where have you been all my adult life? I needed this. But on to my review...The seat comes in two pieces when delivered, I would highly recommend not getting it shipped in the manufactured packaging. It's a odd box big box and not heavy but not light either. Just due to the odd size it's going to be treated like crap by anyone who handles it. I rather have double protection than, oops it broke. It does have styrofoam on all four corners of the original packaging. Tbh, I thought it was all setup when I ordered it. But I probably didn't read the full description when I ordered this.All the hardware is already on the seat pieces. I wish all manifactures did this instead of hunting for the pieces and somehow find out either it's missing or you don't have enough in some cases. You just have to read the manual and follow it. It does include a rentch. The only thing I do recommend is for the left and right side legs is that they place a picture of a person standing in front of it and label L = left and R = Right. Not D, E, F, and whatever letter for the fourth leg. Yes, you need to follow the instructions because all the legs are different and not the same. I recommend this little update for the instructions and stickers cause people in general are dumb and/or lazy. I'm not saying the individual though.As for the wood. I use to be on the assembly line in manufacturing and we used wood. I can tell this is quality wood and it's really nice and sturdy. I weight 225lbs to 250lbs and I'm 5'8". This seat was big and I still had more room for my butt. I can also reach to the floor of my shower with this seat and pick up a bottle of shampoo with ease. I didn't have to use the leveling casters on this seat though, so I can't comment on that.For those who mediate in the shower, I highly recommend this. Sturdy, very well made stool. Purchased for stand up shower and it fits well as a corner unit. Beautiful teak wood making it not only functional but also nice looking

I like the fact that the colours are not uniform. They fit in with our decor. Also, after over a month of use it still looked brand new so I bought a second one for my second bathroom. Also, they were easy to put together and to adjust the height so that they didn’t rock and are solid.

Love this piece! It is perfect for our tiled shower. The floor of our shower is properly sloped for drainage, so the adjustable feet are perfect to give stability and level the top. This was super easy to assemble and feels very sturdy.The finish is nice, although it came with one of the slats on the bottom shelf having a few spots that seemed to be without stain. It’s not bothersome enough to return for an exchange, but we will likely try to oil it to make sure it stays in nice shape. All in all, very pleased with our purchase. We’ll see how it holds up over time!

Super easy to put together. All holes lined up perfectly. Took less than 15 minutes. Love the look and adjustable legs. Extremely sturdy. Beautiful!

This bench is very sturdy. I love the adjustable pads on the feet (the bottom of our shower slopes slightly for water drainage). It is also very attractive. So very happy with my selection!!!

Some of the holes did not line up exactly and I think I cross threaded a couple of screws. After I put it together it seems very sturdy. I put it in a 40x40 shower and there is plenty of room left to shower. .My wife says it is great to be able to sit down on the seat to shave her legs. I did buy teak oil for it but have not used it yet. I would buy this again.

This stool is not only good looking but very well made and sturdy. There is a little space between the slats (about 1/4 inch or less) on the seat and shelf which allows water to drain rather than pool - something I definitely wanted a looked closely at the pictures before buying. It’s comfortable to sit on, fits the corner well and the adjustable feet keep it from shifting on our uneven, rock shower floor. It is the perfect height for us 5’2 and 5’7 but will work for shorter and taller people. The only negative - the tool provided to assemble it was not sturdy enough and we had to use our own.I looked at several options and would definitely buy this one again. I quit writing reviews but this definitely warranted one.
