Have now purchased 8 of these. 4 in place for 2 years. No problems. They are stylish, good quality, and excellent brightness level. Three settings for short, medium and long durations. I have installed them at my house in Greece, so the high levels of sunlight does mean that they are always fully charged by evening. May not be the same for UK conditions :(However, if you use a short-medium time setting, pretty sure that they will operate fine. Excellent product! Would suggest going for maximum wattage. There are lower wattage lights from Luceco, may not be bright enough for security/deterrent purposes. Ditto any other brand.

Attractive light that works well, sufficient light to light up not just the front door entrance but most of the drive when activated.

Value for money motion detection good performance easy installation

The lights are fitted with removable 3.7v 18650 batteries. When I installed one adjacent to the garage door I had expected to have to take it down, take the battery out and recharge it on a regular basis. Despite being placed in a location that has limited sunshine, it's still working after 6 months or so of winter use without any intervention. Admittedly its only on for a few minutes a day when I'm getting my bike out in the morning and returning in the evening, but still much better than expected.The illumination is great, as is the detection range - it picks me up from about 10 metres away and walking towards it, but doesn't come on when others are walking past just a few metres further away.Installing this is a much cheaper and more convenient option than a mains powered alternative.

This solar light is simple to fit and works well. We have not had a lot of sunshine since fitting, however the light is strong enough to illuminate 5 metres around it comfortably.Alan PS

good at what it does but be careful when screwing it to the wall ie. make very sure you are working on a flat surface if not it will break.

This replaced a grotty old light fitting outside, it looks great on the wall (but as white on white wall, also fairly unobtrusive), I was pleased with how sturdy it felt and its huge light output (but as its design is a V, it's pointed downwards at 45 degrees, light where it's needed and minimal light pollution for neighbours etc). I was a bit worried it would go off all night with 'false' triggers, but not at all, its range is enough to give light to us/the dog. I don't normally post gushing reviews, but this is brilliant and just bought another one for the side of the house.
