Perfect for my Christmas fiber optic display
I have two Christmas displays with fiber optics - a ferris wheel and a Santa village - that both went dark. I started looking online and realized that changing the bulb wasn't that hard to do.I was having a hard time finding the right size bulb, especially without the insane price tag (one lightbulb should not cost $30). I was also worried because one of the color wheels had partially melted due to the heat of the old incandescent bulb. I was so happy when I found these bulbs. Not only were they the right size, and a good price, but so much cooler (and safer).

absolutely outstanding! (can I say "stunning?")
I have no idea of how long they will last, but right now these are perfect. Virtually no heat compared to the Halogens they replace. They are quite bright, nearly as good as the Halogen's they replace. (well over satisfactory) I couldn't be happier with this purchase. (esp. in view of one of the other reviews) They also run at approximately 150ma (148.2ma on the lamp I tested for current vs the lamp they replace at nearly 10 times the current @ 1.4 AMPS) They also run "virtually cool" to the touch. I can't express my surprise and satisfaction. VERY VERY satisfied! I'm placing an order for more just to have them on hand. Going to order additional bases as well to replace the halogen damaged sockets and maybe some projects. (The wife is crazy about her Christmas villages though - she's got to get over this behaviour!) :)

Perfect replacement for the halogen bulbs
Good light output but while installing one of the pair, the lead actually could not hold up to the pressure needed to insert into the fixture and collapsed into the light making it non-functional.

I did not think to check lumens
I failed to pay attention the amount of light the bulb gives off. Not the company fault, user error.

Great replacement for halogens
I needed to replace the burned out HALOGEN bulbs in my pool underwater lights. These were a perfect pop-in fit and the lights are brighter than ever and don’t generate any heat. Best of all, they will last 50,000 hours

Meh.
Too dim. Bought these for my Christmas village, but they are very dim.

Bright
Bought these to replace a burned out halogen version in a Halloween decoration and it qorks great. Just as bright and far less heat.
