Good quality unit.
We installed the 3 zone system in my brother in laws cabin in NC. The install was straight forward and the directions were okay enough to get the job done. You definitely need some handyman skills but this is doable for most homeowners. Make sure you have a good vacuum pump and manifold gauge set with the r410a adapter. You could also do the install and let the hvac guy tie it all together. I only gave this 4 stars because the line kits came with pretty terrible drain lines that will most likely fail sooner than later. One of the lines started coming apart as we were installing and had to be reworked. Also, the drain lines are only 18' long while the rest of the kit is 25' long. After we installed the system it blew plenty of warm air even in the mid 20s with snow and sleet falling.

Not happy
Loved this unit for the first year. After that the heat stopped working. Unit froze up. Not sure if the air conditioning part still works. Still cold outside.

Buyer beware of Cooper & Hunter
Cooper & Hunter buyers beware! YouTubers have hyped this brand for a while and said good things about it. And yes, it was very easy to install. Saved me $2000 to install myself. But within 6 months of having it and 4 months of running it, it is dead already. The compressor failed on it, causing a control board to fail. This in turn may have caused further damage. Our local HVAC repair company came out. Looked over the unit and found nothing wrong with my installation. Helped me order new control boards to the tune of $460 from C&H directly. After installing them, the unit still does not work. Now C&H would like me to spend $1000 on a whole new outside unit. Having spent $500 on the tools to install the system, 2k on the system, $460 on 2 boards and now 1 month of no heat and $200 on service calls, I think I can say I saved no money on this PoS… err I meant the C&H. Shame on the ‘Tubers if they promoted this junk for a free unit or cash, and shame on Cooper & Hunter for not standing by the trash they peddle.
