HIVIZHiViz Remington ETA Front and Rear Sight Set

I have a lot of night sights from pretty much all the big name brands. The front sight of this set has to be the brightest I've had yet. The rear sight is pretty good too but not as bright as the front which actually works out well. Not sure why others said they don't glow because they are definitely glowing strong. PUt these on a Security 380 and it was a perfect fit. Held up well so far after first trip to range. Would definitely recommend.

After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase these sights hoping that they would help my old eyes to acquire the target a little easier. I installed them myself after watching their video. The installation went smooth as I took my time in sanding the sights down as recommended. I was able to zero the sights without any problems. I do like the sights much better than the stock sights on my Ruger Security 9. The one and only issue that I encountered was that the allen head for securing the rear sight did strip out. I did read that this has happened to others.I emailed a note to HIVIZ and they promptly responded by sending me a couple of new screws.I am pleased with the sights and the company product support.

Let's start by addressing the biggest complaint that people have about this item: it's too big or doesn't fit. Well, about that... It clearly says on the packaging that it is recommended to have a professional gunsmith install this. If you are going to ignore that, then I assume that you also ignored the part about the sights having to be sanded, little by little, until they fit snug. It is also recommended to use a dovetail sight adjuster tool. If you can't get it to fit or you scratch your gun's finish, that is operator error and not a problem with the craftsmanship of this product.I installed this on a Ruger Security 9 because I hated the rear box sight and it fit well - after proper sanding. I particularly like that I can switch to different colors. I highly recommend this and would buy it again without hesitation.

Very well built and fits great. The sights come with a little tool to push the plastic pieces out of the sights and help install the new ones if you're changing colors. That tool works great for the front sight but the rear ones have a much smaller diameter in the front and that tool doesn't push them out. you'll need a tack or a small paper clip, something like that. Not a deal breaker at all, just FYI. I would buy these again.

Fiber optic sights are by far my favorite for a handgun. I have tried night sights and they work fine, but fiber optic sights are a smaller MOA and allow you to be more precise with shot placement.Installation:Rear sight fit with out any real sanding needed, but the front sight will need to be for a custom fit. Into the dovetail. Some fine sandpaper will do the job.Note: You should not have to force the front sight on as soon as you start to slide the sight onto the dovetail. Sand it down the bottom of the sight a bit and then tap with a brass punch.

Purchased this product for my ruger security 9. Verified package fitment, and sent to a gunsmith for installation. Charging 3 plus hours for installation, here ya go. The gunsmith claiming these are absolute garbage, and didn’t remotely fit as advertised (meaning excessive measuring, filing, adjusting, etc). Yeah maybe it’s the ruger that’s the issue-no. Light pipe visibility is ok, General fitment and adjustability is extremely poor. I wouldn’t waste your money on this product. The package states to have a “gunsmith” install this product. Expect to spend another $150-$250 to install this product. NOT IMPRESSED.

Ordered two of the night sights ( security 9 and security 380) . Took a good ten minutes of sanding to get it to fit (I see some people here didn’t follow the directions and sand theirs) . Snug fit and bright.

Definitely and upgrade from standard optics!Note: not sure about your situation, but for me, there was NO chance I would have been able to install without a press. Zero. Not happening.

very happy with the ease of installation and better target acquisition. Mounted on a .454 casull, it’s holding up to full power loads with no slipping of the fibre optic out of the post.
