This is a very good guide if you are interested in jewelry made with thread and beads. If you like friendship bracelets or kumihimo braiding, this would be the perfect thing for you to try. If you are a complete newbie in crafts, don't worry, this is a good guide for you.What I liked is that pictures and instructions are very clear, I was able to understand everything and follow it. For me it was important to understand the explanation on the glue used, as I am never sure if I am using the right glue when doing other crafts.The only thing is that I would like to see a few more projects in the book (there are five of them now) and a few more photos of finished work for inspiration (there is a small gallery at the end of the book). So for me this is a 4.5 book and I will definitely try this as soon as I finish my current projects.

I have done Macrame for years, but this is a great refresher book with some outstanding patterns!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REFRESHER COURSE!!

I purchased this book through Amazon Books.I really like it, because of the clear and concise instructions and photos. I’m enjoying being inspired to create my own designs.

Book was o.k. for beginners but, would have liked a bigger book with more projects for the price. It is a bit skimpy for the cost. That is why I am giving it only 3 stars.

(Reviewing e-book) I found this to be an excellent tutorial experience. The instructions were easily understood step-by-step accompanied by clear color pictures. I have never tried any type of macrame before and i was able to follow along and complete each project. I intend to get the next book in the series.

I just returned from the fabric store with my bag of cord and beads. This book inspired me to begin this new hobby and hopefully create something that I can sell at the local farmer's market. The pictures and explanations make this book perfect for me. She lists what is needed to get started and details how to tie the knots. I'm excited. Learn How To Make Micro Macrame Jewelry by Kelsy Eason is an amazing book. I love the designs and she does such a great job explaining it. I was a teenager in the '70s when the hippies made and wore macrame jewelry and used it to hang flower pots. I never heard of it being called "micro" or used with beads until I read this book. This book would be great for anyone wanting to start a new jewelry-making hobby or business.
