I encourage all puppy parents to get one.I have been able to train & contain my puppy so quickly thanks to this playing pen. Its much easier to step out or maybe just be to the kitchen without having to worry what part of the room the puppy must be destroying or getting destroyed by. To be honest my puppy hasn’t bitten one shoe, furniture piece or even a pair or sock. All thanks to him loving his pen and obviously his well stocked toys in his pen.He loves his area so much now that even when the door of the pen is open he goes and chills in his place.Also, since the pen is movable, you can make it smaller or larger.I have personally made a rectangular area with a crate area, a food area and a pee pad area as designated understanding for my puppy.Hope this review helps.Would love to help a contemplating parent to put aside the doubts and go for it hands down!

Pros: By far the best buy amongst my other purchases for my puppy. Makes my life easy in so many ways. Used it to potty train my puppy. It's big in size and my puppy has enough space to walk/play inside while it is also foldable and can be reshaped into any shape, big or small depending on the need of the hour.Cons: It is light. As my puppy is growing up he can easily move it around. He cant get out but he moves it around easily while still inside. A mini door to get the puppy in or out of the pen would have been a great addition.

I received the product 2 days after order. The package wasn’t damaged at all. Amazon basics products are actually very nice. And now about the play pen, I use the pen as a wall instead of a closed cage because I wanted to train my puppy his boundaries in the house. I had to block off the kitchen. The product is quite sturdy because of the rubber sleeves they provide with it for indoor and there are “U-Pins” for outside (16 pins and 16 sleeves included with a manual for assembly instructions are included in the box) which are hammered into the soil. The fence is appx. 10kg and 1 compartment is 2 feet wide and there are 8 compartments (Octagon). Obviously, it wouldn’t stand as a wall, I had to put it in a zig zag manner. Really easy to assemble, quite sturdy but your pet may push it if it (an adult dog of course) but would not be able to come out because of the 3 locks. The rubber sleeves however arre not really useful because your dog/puppy will soon start chewing on it and you don’t want it to swallow that. Must buy if you stay busy at home and can’t go and stop your dog from going anywhere in the house. The best part about this is the price. The other pens available on amazon are made out of cloth like material and are much more expensive. The Amazon Basic Play Pen is really a quality product and worth every penny you’re paying.P.S. my room door is broken right now so I keep the pen like that(zig-zag) to keep my pet in my room.

Thanks to the positive reviews and pictures posted by Amazon India customers, I purchased this foldable and flexible metal cage and have been delighted with the peace of mind it has given me since I started using it for my dog. Being black in colour, it blends into the background and is barely noticeable. I give my five month old dachshund full freedom to roam around our house, our balconies and garden, and needed a discreet, flexible barrier to keep him from eating my plants or jumping over our verandah's short ledge. And this is just perfect, as I open it to run along the edge of the verandah and it neatly fits into the niches. Got it on a flash sale which sweetened the deal. It's a bit heavy for me to move when folded, but that's a minor inconvenience. Great product. Great value. Great peace of mind. An update: both the fence partitions I bought have started rusting and leave horrible rust marks of my verandah tiles. So reducing the five star rating I gave this earlier

This is one of my best online purchases ever. I bought it for Rs. 2000 in 2020 when my pup was just 2 months old and I use it even now to restrict his access to areas of the house. Eg: I block the stairs when I want him to stay on the terrace. I used to fence a section of delicate plants in my garden to keep him away. Of course when he was a lil pup I would keep him inside and it would become his own lil space to do whatever he feels like. He would play, eat, got to sleep all inthis space. Even taught him not to expect any food from table while we're eating. He would bark, cry and push it but won't get out of this fence. This fence easy to setup, easy to fold, easy to carry and durable enough for carefree use.

Design it to suit you (Rectangle, square, octagon, pentagon.. ) You can form smaller spaces by collapsing a few panels. Its tall enough to avoid pups jumping over. Gate is a very useful addition since it helps access the dog and its things inside the pen easily. The pen is not very in its expanded state. Its easy for the pup to push it when installed indoors. Its a great place for the family to engage with a pup in a smaller controlled environment

It serves the purpose, is a little bit flimsy so needs to be fixed well! My dogs stay fine in it though, ample space to move around for small dogs
