Amethyst Mala 108 Beads on Knotted String

This mala would be lovely if more time was spent on quality control.. There appeared to be several problems with the mala I bought. As someone who use to string beads as a hobby several years ago, I noticed that whoever was stringing my mala needed more practice on knotting individual beads.Unfortunately, they were not making the knots big enough to hold each bead in place. Also, there appeared to be an issue of the beads not quite being uniformed in size and color but there were only a few of them. But what I found to be most delightfully quizzical was the tassel. Which was like the ones you would find on a graduation cap .I had to snip it a couple of inches for symmetry sake.

The picture makes it seem as though you are getting a really good deal. Although I like it, it is A LOT SMALLER than what the picture looks. If you buy online, remember you get what you pay for. I am grateful that it came in earlier than expected, also glad that it is exactly 108 beads. However, it is small. The knotted string is just as small as the mala and flimsy.

the amethysts are of poor quality and the string is not knotted. The whole mala in unsatisfactory. There are much better available for around the same price.I really appreciate how this company responded to my review. They contacted me and refunded my money very quickly. I believe that this company has good intentions and would purchase from them again.

they dont feel like real amethys bead stone .... they feel like glass .i didnt get the same necklece as the one they show on the picture all the beads on the necklace look the same and amethys are diferent colors even if you select than carefuly ...

Not happy. It is not knotted, it does not have the larger beads as depicted in photo. I paid the regular price to and I see it's on sale. I will return it... at the regular price not worth the money...on sale .. maybe. Disappointed. Clearly not what's shown in picture.

This is a very nice mala - the only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is that the tassel is quite large and really gets in the way. I removed it and replaced it with silver beads and it's perfect :)

I purchased this mala specifically because the beads were knotted. The product that I received was not knotted on thread, rather simply strung on nylon line, making using the mala more difficult to use.

the beads are beautiful but the product was not delivered as it was described. The beads were not on a string nor were they knotted. Very disappointed, I returned thestrand
