Our Ranchu 5 pack purchased in February was a great experience also and we love those fish!These baby butterflies arrived in less than 24 hours after the label was printed, CA to NY. Their water was comfortably cool thanks to the insulated box and cold pack (even with sweltering heat here during shipping day).The fish are in excellent health and are beautiful colors. The pictures are of them in their 10 gallon quarantine tank. Keep in mind measurements include the tail; I think that is something other reviewers are not aware of.3 are older/larger than the other two but all close enough in size that they can be kept in the same tank and it is a testament to the seller that the smaller 2 are so robust after shipping. If you enjoy raising babies to full size and enjoy the satisfaction of watching them grow and their colors changing over time then don’t hesitate to buy. This seller is top notch.****Update 12/9/2020****I love the fish from this seller so much I bought a 2nd batch which I will try to post as a second review. My original batch of baby butterflies did amazing and I kept the two that ended up being females. I added updated photos and one is a stunning tri-color now. Keep in mind butterflies are one of the most fragile fancy varieties (health wise) so I would go with hardier varieties if you are not experienced with fancy goldfish.

Love these! I’m a fancy goldfish enthusiast and I’ve ordered from US breeders online before and sadly they never worked out. However, I tried this on amazon and they have been successful both times! 🏆First I ordered the 5 pack of red ranchu and this time I ordered the 5 butterfly calico.Healthy and beautiful fish at a great price.The only thing I will say is I was surprised to see it shipped to my house a week early. Amazon said the 29th and I got them the week before. So I was lucky to get home early from work that day and got them in their tank that was already set up in decent time. It’s a good time to order goldfish in January usually because it’s not super hot out for shipping.One of the red and white butterflies has a larger eye than the other but it doesn’t seem to be anything to worry other than esthetic.The fish already love their new tank mates and already started chasing each other to breed! 😅 #happyfish

During our first purchase the fish were happy and healthy. We decided about a month later to get 5 more since we had a 60 gallon tank. The 2nd group of 5 the experience wasn't so great. The fish were diseased and now all the fish are slowly dieing. We discovered 2 of them had ick. Put them in the hospital tank to try and fight it. Another fish had fin rot that showed up about 3 days after arriving. We now wish we would have just kept the original 5 and not get more. Will never purchase again.

The rest of the fish are okay but one of them stays at the bottom and barely moves.

I am an ex-aquatic specialist, I even contacted the seller beforehand regarding my desired designs (I am a frequent buyer), and they were more then happy to ship me 5 individual BEAUTIFUL fish who were all perfectly healthy.I have purchased live fish from this buyer multiple times and NEVER had a single DOA. And always good variety, beautiful designs.They really cater to you and care about the fish!(If all my photos weren't on my phone, I would post some!)

I was so excited to see these grow. Too bad they died right away and I didn’t get my money back. I had everything set up for weeks and they still didn’t make it. They seemed sick on arrival. Should have waited to order my other purchases from here instead of doing them all at once. Bigggg waste of money.

So happy I decided to do this instead of shopping the local big box pet store. All fish arrived alive and earlier than expected. Pending survival of a 2 week quarentine they will be introduced into the rest of my little fish collection. So happy with the selection and color variety. d
