Great flavor and value
At the same time I bought these, I bought unpitted Castelveltrano olives at Whole Foods Market. These pitted olives were by far the better value and just as flavorful as the unpitted from WFM. That said, and FYI, this is a very mild flavored olive.

Excellent Olives
These are one of the better products that I have come across.. Olives are tasty and well preserved..

Perfectly Edible
This was my first time ever eating Castelvetrano olives. I bought them to eat with a favorite snack: blue cheese and green apple slices on crackers. They are not as salty as salad olives and the flavor was a little more "delicate", I suppose (as every description of this type of olives seems to call them), I now realize in lieu of any better adjective for "slightly more bland". They are perfectly edible, in any case, and they have a good, firm texture. I'd get them again when they are out of the Mario feta stuffed green olives I prefer.

Either Floating or chopped A+
These olives are huge and huge of flavor. They set off a cocktail with an awesome appearance. And their size calls for chopping them a little to put into a salad. I put some in an egg salad and they made it!

Like Mushy Canned Olives
First off, the color is drab green, certainly not the bright green color characteristic of Castelvetrano olives. Secondly, the texture of this olive should be firm, almost crunchy. These are as mushy as canned olives and taste like canned olives. Castelvetrano olives have a unique flavor and that's missing here. The price is cheap for Castelvetranos but expensive compared to canned olives which these taste like. I tried to order 12 jars because of the price. Thankfully, Amazon limited the purchase to 4 jars per person.

Buttery Good
These high-quality olives are a treat. The taste is buttery. Love the texture which is al dente. No sharp aftertaste. Use these for special occasions.

ok olives, but actual sodium content is double what is stated on the jar I received
I wrote this review to alert buyers that the sodium content on some jars seems to be mislabeled. My jar said 135 mg for a serving size of 4 olives, but when I checked the Mario Camacho website, the photo of the label says 135 mg for a serving size of 2 olives. I suspected something was wrong b/c they tasted saltier than stated and I felt very thirsty after eating these olives. For some people, this won't matter, but if you are watching your sodium closely, it might matter a lot to get double the labeled sodium amount.

The best olives
These Castelvetrano olives are so delicious. The flavor is terrific. They can be a little pricey but are definitely worth paying a little more for.
