I enjoy the portability of this speaker and the quality is good for it's size. The main thing that's annoying, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the speaker itself, is when powering it on. Each and every time you have to listen to "Power On. Welcome to Altac Lansing" There needs to be a way to turn that off. I don't need to hear that every time I turn it on. Especially since I do so several times a day. (I listen to my audio books through it)

Ok, at first site, I was completely mad, it was SOOOO small that I could fit it in my pocket!!! Then I decided to try it before I complained too much!!! Well I had issues connecting it to my phone....... only to realize that I read the instructions WRONG!!! After reading the CORRECT method it connected very easily and after turning on a really good rock song................ HOLY COW!!!! This thing is AWESOME!!!! Don't let the small size fool you! It really loud and has good sound! Now I'm thinking about getting another one to pair together and hang on the rollbar of my RZR!!!!

ZERO faults. Literally NOTHING negative to share. This is a small speaker & performs as such... but at the very UPPER end of your expectations for such a device. I have subs in my car - my 5.1 home surround sound system features two subs - so I really enjoy good/tight bass response despite the fact that my music choice geneally falls in the 1970's - 90's range. This thing MORE THAN satisfies me : ) I use it indoors - as my kitchen speaker while cooking/eating, & as my shower speaker - it works GREAT in both small & large indoor spaces. I also use it outdoors - primarily while kayaking. I bungee it to the back of my yak & never worry about it slipping off because the rubber outer sleeve of the speaker provides great grip on pretty much any surface. I frequently tip over or flip the yak on accident reaching for the football or frisbee my friends & I throw around while out on the water. Obviously, this speaker is as waterproof as the listing claims!! I've found it to be just plain durable overall. Example: I set it on top of the bathroom light over a sink at my brother's house while I was fixing his toilet. The speaker fell off the light, hit the sink, then hit the floor. ZERO DAMAGE - works exactly as it did when new. Battery life is absolutely amazing. I'm not even going to type here how long the battery lasts for me because you'll think I'm lying. I will say that it lasts A LOT longer than advertised - regardless of where I set the volume.

I have been using an H2O Jacket 4 speaker for a couple of months, it was great on the beach and in the yard. I recently bought a second to pair for stereo. i made the mistake of putting them in the shower, where they worked for a few minutes. Then the sound became very distorted and they lost link. After taking them out and letting them dry I still had issues for 2 days. They would play fine for a minute then lose the bluetooth connection or the sound would break up. Last night they seem to be doing better, so i am hoping they have dried out. Even though the product information says they are suitable for use around and in water, I do not recommend you allow them to become wet.

This is the second version of the same speaker that I have bought. Everything works very well. It's a lot smaller than the Jambox we had been using. However, this is also the second one that has had issues with the charging port. Over time the charging port becomes loose and you are unable to re-charge the speaker, making it useless. I think the main reason is that the charging cord is EXTREMELY short. In any case, it's now a $50 paper wait.

Pros: It's waterproof, dustproof & shock resistant. Sound is very good for such a small speaker & the Bluetooth works quite well. Charging time is a little slow with the included charger, I've been using my Motorola charger or plugging it into a spare USB port on my computer.Cons: the 'Altec Lansing' audio splash at startup is a little annoying & plays at a fixed volume, no way to turn it off.Other thoughts: Bought it to play music while kayaking but haven't had it on the river yet, but it works well in my back yard or on the front porch.Update: I've had it out kayaking numerous times now. On a whim I tossed it in the water: it really does float & was unaffected by getting wet. Sound is righteous, battery life good, does what I wanted admirably.

Ok so after much searching and not having a great deal of money. I settled on this. I thought for the money it should be ok. But the sound sucks unless your listening at very low volume. It auto-shuts off after an hour, That is a huge issue, as I listen to music all day long. When it arrived, and I went to un-box it. the box was cracked and half open. The rubber jacket on the speaker was not even on the speaker. This thing is junk. I wish I could get my money back. Total waste, avoid buying this garbage at all costs.

Great sound for the price. Decent max volume without distortion. Colors are vibrant. Relatively thick rubber covering probably helps a lot to protect the unit if it gets dropped. Fast recharge and playtime actually comes close (about 80%) to what is advertised. Bluetooth works great and sounds no different than a direct 3.5mm audio port connection to digital music player, phone, computer, whatever. I just had to know so I tossed it into a water filled bathtub and turned it on. Doesn't sound so great half submerged but the fact that it can play at all while underwater is pretty amazing. I let it dry off by itself and several hours later it sounded just as good as new. That was 2 months ago and it's still going strong, as is the one I purchased for my wife.

Excelente bocina debido a su costo. Se escuchan los graves de buena calidad y la potencia es perfecta para un cuarto mediano o una pequeña reunión al aire libre. Se puede enlazar con una bocina del mismo modelo para crear sonido estéreo, que no es la panacea, pero puedes colocarlas en cada esquina de tu reunión y mejorará mucho el volumen y la claridad

Ya tuve otra de estas y la verdad super recomendadas, ademas ya bajaron los precios... Pero estas nuevas no tienen el mismo volumen ni el mismo alcance....

La calidad de sonido es aceptable para el tamaño de la bocina, he estado usando una por más de dos años y medio y no he tenido ningún problema, la duración de la batería me parece bien aprox. 6hrs de uso continuoEstoy muy satisfecho con mi compra.

La bocina tiene muy buenas características de apariencia y acústicas, pero en ninguna parte se menciona que es MINI. Tengan en cuenta ésto al momento de comprar.

En general es una buena compra solo que, modelos anteriores tenían más potencia en el volumen. Pero vale la pena la compra.
