Not a big fan
Good concept, may be useful if you're away from any other way to repair a chainsaw blade. There were no directions, but in this day of youtube, not a big deal. In fact, just googling how to repair a chain and you'll come up with much easier ways to repair/add/remove links from your chainsaw blades. Good thing I decided to use an old chain to practice on. Using the little "anvil", I attempted to drive the rounded over link rivet out. Um..no. It ended up off of center. No problem, I had a dremel tool and ground off the rivet end. NOW I was able to drive the link out with the supplied tool. I fit a new link, and attempted to round over the rivet end using the supplied tool. Not much luck. The tool supplied is too concave and damaged the link. So I did as was suggested by one of the many on line tutorials and switched to a ball peen hammer. A few careful tap tap taps, and the chain was repaired.

Works great. I grind down or file down the rivets, pop out the pins, does fine job.

Works well but have to be careful when seating the chain the larger punch doesn't like to stay centered
