INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE AND VALUE AUDIO SNAKE
I have become a huge fan of Seismic Audio products. This 24-channel snake answered an important need for an amazing price, but is it any good?I have a recording studio with a lot of rack mount equipment, it's a constant battle to get signals to and from the mixer. This patch bay is the perfect mate to the Behringer PX3000 patch bays (which I'm also a big fan of).Now I finally have a reasonably priced way to snake all 24 channels between a pair of patch bays.AUDIO QUALITY: Before passing audio I did some testing on the cable. End to end the impedance measured under 1-ohm, capacitance indicated about 20pf per foot, excellent for line level signals. As with all imported cables the 1/4" TRS plugs each needed a good cleaning with Cramolin prior to use (to remove invisible resistive film from connector surfaces). The center piece of my recording studio control room is a Neve mixer which is driving a pair of Meyer HD-1 monitors, this provides a very accurate system for evaluating analog audio components for noise and distortion. I'm happy to report that these Seismic Audio snakes pass my listening test with flying colors. A lot more of my signals are going to be moving through SA cables very soon. This 24 channel snake is the second SA audio-snake I've bought, my other one is a 16-channel that turned around 16 XLR to a TRS patchbay (also worked great). The plugs are almost too large in diameter, similar in size to larger clutch-type Neutrik connectors, they seem heavy duty and well made. The cable ends are all nicely dressed and labeled with clear heat shrink to protect the nomenclature.FAVORITE FEATURE: They don't degrade the sound and they're priced very effectively, compare to any other brand you can find, nobody can touch these prices, thank you Seismic Audio, I'll be ordering a lot more in the future.

Seismic continues to impress.
Most of our studio is wired with Mogami snakes and Neutrik or Switchcraft connectors. Which is awesome. Those are professional brands, with scrupulous engineering and quality. Mogami snakes are unlike any other: supple, soft, dense, lay flat, easy to strip and splice, with spectacular shielding. You just have to hold it, and you can immediately tell the difference in build-quality versus something from Hosa or the like. It doesn't crackle when you move it, nor die if someone rolls an amp over it, nor twist itself into knots.Same with Neutrik and Switchcraft connectors. They fit tightly but smoothly, they are well-made, the strain-relief works, they last through thousands of pluggings and unpluggings without fault or failure, it's just a professional-grade tool, for people who need their equipment to work day in and day out. Moreover, they are SERVICEABLE, easily and quickly. There is generally nothing wrong with a Neutrik connector, that I can't fix in under a minute with a soldering iron. That's not true of even some very expensive (Monster) brands. So, ideally, I would recommend anyone in pro audio use Mogami cable and Neutrik or switchcraft connectors for everything. It will work great. But it also costs a fortune, if you want to rig out an entire live setup or pro studio.I have bought several pieces by seismic over the past few years, and while their quality is definitely not in the same tier as Mogami/Neutrik, they get most of the important things right, for a fraction of the cost. The connectors are pretty good. Not as good as switchcraft/neutrik, but they are sturdy and serviceable, and strain-relief is decent. The snake and cable are similar. Not awesome, but pretty good. If nobody's going to be rolling an Ampeg SVT or a big lighting rig over it, I think it would probably last indefinitely.

Great for amp/pedalboard/guitar
Great cable if you’re trying to set up your guitar. amp and effects with the “four cable method “

good cables, small numbers.
These are good. My only complaint is the numbers printed on the cables are small and not easy to see. I needed a magnifying lens to read them.

Great cable snake Cheap price!
This is a great company to get really decent gear at a fraction of the cost. This would have been easily twice the price at a retail store. The TRS connectors feel very high quality, not cheaply made. Don't let the size of the cable going into it fool you it's just as durable. The markers are easily identifiable as 1 1 (L denotes left channel), 2 2 (R denotes right channel), for each source. Thinking the labels weren't going to have any protection, they do have a shield of high grade plastic surrounding the label which will protect from years of wear and tear. It sounds great going into my Delta 1010! Very satisfied!

Nothing better than purchasing a quality item these days...
Stunning cables, extremely well made, not a single problem. To be honest, the only thing better than these cables is the price.I know of this company's reputation from their speakers, so I had no issues purchasing this from them. In fact while searching for a 16CH TRS Snake/Cable I didn't notice it was being sold by Seismic Audio. Going through the list of vendors and narrowing down my selection and trying to decide on which to purchase, I kept coming back to these because of the price, but like most things, I wasn't sure on these because of the price for a 16CH TRS Snake, and one does simply not cut corners on cables for recording. As soon as I noticed it was being sold by Seismic Audio, I practically hit the purchase button, because of their reputation of quaility, that is of course my opinion and experiance. If you are in the market for a 16CH TRS Snake/Cable, I cannot recommend this product enough, I'm so impressed I wish I could post pictures of close ups in use so you can see that they are what I'm saying they are.
