RV Square Electrical Cable Hatch for 30 Amp Cords (Black)

I used this as a passthrough for a 30‑amp generator cord, and it did the job nicely. I did have to cut out the back of the passthrough so the cord could actually fit through, but if you don’t have a premade cord you’ll probably be able to skip that step. The plastic feels pretty durable, and it handled the modification without cracking. I used a 2‑3/4" hole saw for the opening, and the fit ended up nice and tight in the wall. The door closes well and seems to keep the weather out, though only time will tell how the hinge and latch hold up long‑term. So far, it looks like a solid solution for what I needed.

Good product for what I intend to use it for. mine arrived broken but I was able to repair it by fusing the plastic.

It fit perfectly in the old hole and I was able to reuse the original screw holes to mount it. After it was installed I had an issue getting it to snap closed on the left side (there are locking tabs on the left and right sides). I pressed hard trying to get the left side to lock and finally, with a loud snap, it closed but I think the lock tab may have broken because it's now rather loose on the left side. I didn't examine these tabs before mounting it and the trailer is now winterized so I can't investigate further. 4 stars because it was easy to mount but I won't know if it's usable until next year.

Just what the doctor ordered

Was a little disappointed because the first one I received was broken at the hinge. Amazon customer service made it good. Just had to wait for the replacement. Was easy to install and advertised dimensions were spot on. Only thing I did not like was the hinge on the flap is of poor quality. Not certain how long it will last.

The cover hatch works as described but is a little flimsy. I expected to be made a little more stronger considering it is to be used on the exterior of an over the road vehicle.

This fit perfectly into our 2018 forest river wilderness. It's a good replacement for the original one. Looks great too!
