McDermottMetal 3/8-10 Logo Joint Protector Set (1 Male & 1 Female)

Looks good but it didn’t fit on my brand new McDermott Star cue. The protector for the butt wouldn’t screw on all the way because it was too tight. I figured it was a fluke and asked for a replacement but it’s the same. They both arrived slightly dented and scratched also. Not shocking since they are not protected at all, packaging is just a sealed soft plastic bag. I really wanted these to match my white pearl McDermott Star cue but it’s not gonna happen. I should mention it did fit the starter McDermott cue kit I purchased for my wife perfectly. You would think 3/8-10 would Fit the same even if 1 product comes from the USA and one from somewhere else but I guess not.Disappointed!Update. Turns out my McDermott Star cue has a burr on the screw joint. I took it to a pool table shop and the lubed it up with cue wax and got it to push through. I am not updating the stars any higher since these were over priced and dent easy. They even arrived dented.

These are perfect for genuine McDermott cue's. If you have their not main series cues, such as the lucky star, or other cues, your millage may vary, but for the genuine main series cues these are perfect.

Very good fit, well made protectors. A little pricey though, next set I think I’ll shop a little more for a better price.

Joint protectors look great and arrived in time specified. Nice addition to your cue, no matter what the make is.
